Please give thanks to all our veterans and active duty military this coming Memorial Day. This is my grandfather, WWI combat vet of Company "L", 38th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division also known as "The Rock of the Marne". He's the guy leaning his right arm on the pedestal, the photo was taken in 1919 in occupied Germany.  GO 3rd ID! |

Remember Our Veterans This Weekend I think we should remember our Veterans each and every weekend at our relgious services in addition to this weekend. This photo is of the Marine Vietnam Veterans Organization that I belong to ..although for some reason I have not attended any of the reunions since I would just as soon forget those days ...and don't like to dwell too much on the past...I believe in moving on but some guys can't let go which is OK ..I guess??  |
