I grilled extra sirloin yesterday, so think I'm going to make beef with broccoli with the leftovers. I have a stir fry package of seasoning mix that I got as a freebie, so will try it out. I'll serve it over rice.
This means I'll have leftover leftovers for lunch this week. ;D

I dunno. Whatever I can hunt and catch with my bare hands. Probably the elusive fish taco.

Mahi Mahi or lean sirloin .... I'll decide later. And lots of veggies. Or a tuna sandwich. I'm not especially inspired today.

Home made pizza. I forgot that I took a crust out of the freezer the other day, if I don't use it today, it won't be any good. Half will be ham and pineapple (kids). Half will be pepper and scallions (me). DH comes home late on Mondays. He'll eat whatever we leave. Served with a garden salad because yes kids, I expect you to eat vegetables at every meal.

Beef stroganoff is in the slow cooker: carrots, onions and mushrooms. DH will have noodles with his. I do without the extra carbs. I just need to boil some noodles and add the sour cream when I get home.

Either burgers and corn on the cob, or little Boboli's pizzas (I have fresh Basil, etc. to use up), and I have some homemade soup. All 3?

Nancy, May I please eat at your house? Beef stroganoff is one of my favorite meals. About 10 years ago I made it the same night DH ended up in the hospital. He had to have emergency gall bladder surgery. He still refers to it as the time I tried to kill him. I tend not to make it anymore.

Cheesy - I remember you posting that recipe! I still have it, but haven't tried it. I think the "messy" part is why. Malarky, LMAO!!! <<makes note to make beef stroganoff next time DH irritates her>>

LOL....the first major attack I had at TD's, it was after eating some of a Costco roasted chicken. I'm not sure I can eat it either!

Tina that number has to be at least two since she had one right before she was supposed to come back after her hip surgery. Maybe TD is bad karma?

what's the plan for tonight? I need some opinions, maybe a vote on this. I pulled some chicken stock out of the freezer to thaw, and I also have some milk I should probably use in the next couple of days. I'm also craving spinach (must be low on iron or something ) which can easily be worked into a couple options. so do I make: parmesan (or grana padana if I can pick some up cheap) mac 'n cheese with spinach or spinach/cremini/pancetta risotto the risotto will use up all 1.5c of stock, the mac 'n cheese would be half stock/half milk. I will also probably use the remainder of the thawed-out spinach on whatever option doesn't get picked, some time in the next few days.

The first? How many attacks have you had at TD's?I had 2 major attacks at TD's. I had had a couple of minor attacks (lasted about 15-20 min and went away) - maybe one in Oct and another in Nov. The first attack was about 5 weeks after my hip replacement. It had gone on for 3 hours before I finally woke him up (TD was sacked out on the sofa) and had him take me to the ER. We sat in the ER for another 2+ hours (he went home to get my leftover narcotics, then the stupid nurse wouldn't let me take them!) and the pain went away. I figured that we'd be there at least another 2 hours, so left. The last attack was a week later. I did manage to down 15 mg of oxycodone, but it didn't touch the pain so we went off to the ER again. This time, there was no one there and I was seeing a doctor within 30 min of walking through the doors.

I still have some beef stroganoff with noodles left over, but that will be DH's lunch Thursday, provided I can keep it away from Malarky . He's having ravioli tonight, and I am having chicken and corn. I also made homemade macaroni and cheese, which he will finish off tomorrow for lunch. We are doing dinner out (sort of) tomorrow night, courtesy of a freelance assignment - thirty food trucks are rolling into town for a business event. The food truck scene has not done well here, thanks to local ordinances. Hopefully, this event will let the county commissioners know that needs to change.

I've got to go to the dentist when I leave work so I probably won't be eating until at least 8. Maybe a sandwich?

Your ingredients look good But I'm too hungry to wait for risotto.
Make sauce: stock+/- milk+/- cheese with sliced pancetta to be poured over fresh spinach and cooked pasta. Spinach will wilt and 'cook' in the other hot ingredients. Don't forget some spices.
