These are all terrific ideas. Thank you! I'm a daily-oatmeal person, too. Right now I have five of those 42-ounce boxes stashed -- I bought them for 50 cents to $1 each with coupons and instant rebates. (Oatmeal is sometimes my supper, if I'm too tired to cook.) Right now I'm at my daughter's in Phoenix. It's my first morning here and I slept VERY late. By the time I got myself cleaned up it was almost lunchtime, so all that I had was an apple. If she doesn't have any oatmeal I will probably boil a few eggs and/or have peanut butter toast for my breakfasts.

I like to cook my oatmeal with cinnamon, nutmeg & cloves, and then add shredded granny smith apples & chopped walnuts But on the run I always brew me a cup of tea and I make me a toast (english breakfast toast, it's like english muffins but sliced like regular bread) with either cheese spread (laughing cow) or teewurst. I also keep yogurt & babybel cheese at work, and on weekends we make our own sausage burritos: cubed potatoes, sausage & scrambled eggs (and load it with crystal)

It's sooo nice to find a forum with most of us all together again! Yea!
OK, quick, cheap breakfast...
I am very fortunate that my employer provides a full size fridge w/freezer, microwave, toaster and toaster oven so that I can store and cook eggs (via m/w) right at work. But here are some of my picks for breakfast at work. Lots of times I'll just have a can of chicken noodle soup. I store honey, peanut butter, butter, and jelly at work and am lucky to have a coworker who brings in bagels, muffins and breakfast pastries regularly (her church does some kind of deal every Sunday and she usually brings the left overs to work). I don't eat cheese at work (I've found that it makes me sleepy) so I make frittatas w/veggies and taters but no cheese to carry for breakfast, or english muffin sandwiches with just ham lunch meat or sausage patties and eggs. I don't usually do breakfast on the go but I do like fruit/nut granola bars if I need a quick snack. I've also found that home made trail mix is so much cheaper and better tasting than store bought. I also like canned pineapple or frozen berries with vanilla yogurt and pecans or walnuts. So those are some of my go tos for breakfast at work, I'm looking forward to everybody elses ideas.

I NEVER just cook a single meal’s servings of anything. Thus, for breakfast I generally have pancakes & waffles ready to go in the freezer. A few weeks ago I also made a batch of black bean and egg burritos that was 6 servings. Several times a week I eat cold cereal (like Cheerios or raisin bran) or oatmeal. A couple times/week I eat nonfat yougurt w/fresh or frozen berries. If I make an omelet I make it w/ 2 eggs, a bunch of veggies and sometimes some ham (like today w/onion, greenpepper, mushroom & ham) and have half later. I sometimes make a batch (4-6) of open face (use 2-3 muffins) egg/cheese/meat muffins. I have also been known to do peanut butter on ½ an English or cream cheese on a mini bagel (bought at the bread outlet store).

DH and I make a batch of biscuit and sausage sandwiches on the weekend, package them separately and pop them in the freezer for an easy grab 'n go breakfast . My work place has a spigot for instant hot water as well as a microwave. I keep tea bags and a mug at my desk and make my morning caffeine fix while my biscuit warms up in the microwave. For a healthier meal I package up some dry cereal, a small thermos of milk and fruit (banana or some berries).
