So what I conclude from that is the fastest way to get Republicans on board with gun regulations is to start giving them to drag queens during story time at the library.

Can someone explain to me what purpose would an AR-15 style firearm be used for in real life? They actually work great for coyote hunting, I have a thermal scope on mine so I can hunt at night (perfectly legal). But honestly, there are several guns that can work just as well...

Based just on the number of firearms purchased each year, including AR-15 style weapons, coyotes would have been eliminated from the U.S. pretty fast. NICS GUN SALE DATA FOR 2020: BEST YEAR EVER, OVER 21 MILLION SOLD

I support no new sells, buy back programs, grandfather clause with the condition of registration and strict storage requirements. Did you see where the Washington State House just passed a bill (House Bill 1240) that would prohibit the manufacture, importation, distribution, sale or offer for sale of any assault weapon in the state? It will next go to the State Senate, which is comprised of 29 Democrats and 20 Republicans. The governor has already announced that if it makes it to his desk he will sign it. To be clear, it does not bar possession, so if you already own one you can keep it. It bars transfer, so nobody can manufacture, bring in, or buy/sell one in the state moving forward. The description of weapons covered by the bill is: Okay, so that bill finally passed both houses and has been signed by the governor. That was expected, since the governor pushed for the bill originally. He also signed two other pieces of legislation relating to guns. "So we don't have a waiting period necessity for signing a good bill, so I'm signing this bill." "No one needs an AR-15 to protect your family. You only need it to kill other families."

Can someone explain to me what purpose would an AR-15 style firearm be used for in real life? School shootings. That's reasonable.
