McConnel is concered Trump's endless bitching is going to cost them seats in 2022. www.cnn.com/2021/10/20/politics/mitch-mcconnell-donald-trump-2022-midterms/index.html"I do think we need to be thinking about the future and not the past. I think the American people are focusing on this administration, what it's doing to the country, and it's my hope the '22 election will be a referendum on the performance of the current administration, not a rehash of suggestions about what may have happened in 2020." That's about as close as McConnell will get to outright refutation of Trump and the strategy, such as it is, that the former president is peddling -- a hard focus on trying to prove (nonexistent) voter fraud in the 2020 election. So I say GO TRUMP! BITCH BITCH BITCH! I totally support you in your endless quest to prove you are the victim! Marge Green is worried his threatening to not have his minions vote will actually happen and more Dem candidates will slip through, like the two current Georgia senators. She’s pleading for Republicans to swarm the voting polls. She’s right, but I think the minions will obey Trump rather than her. Also Hershal Walker, Trumps hand picked GA candidate, just said he doesn’t believe the Big Lie. Whoops! Georgia lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared this week to contradict former President Donald Trump's stand that his supporters should not vote in the 2022 midterm elections or the 2024 presidential elections unless the GOP backs his election fraud claims. "Voices online that are telling you not to vote are doing the Democrats' dirty work. Stop listening to grifters telling you not to vote," Greene posted on Twitter on October 18, advocating for Republicans to "get serious." news.yahoo.com/stop-listening-grifters-telling-not-033637759.htmlContradicting the King? Calling him a grifter?

We have yet to see the bottom I thought we had until maybe a month after the inauguration, when it became clear that dumpsterfire was not going to give up his podium.
unfortunately, I agree. it is not even close to over. this is a slow moving coup.

I think we will see some sort of resolution with the 2022 election if republicans do worse than expected. Otherwise it will continue to get worse.

Far too early to talk about 2024. Do you think anything sad in 2017 would have been relevant given the black swan that appeared in 2020? Seems like that is what tipped the election, and it was on no ones radar.

Virginia was not a good sign. how Democrats REACT to that is probably more important than them being about 5% below predictions.

Stone thinks he would win Florida? Plus it a year after the election, The fat lady has already moved on to other shows.

Stone thinks he would win Florida? Plus it a year after the election, The fat lady has already moved on to other shows. Stone is not running to win. He wants DeSantis to commit to not running for the Presidency in 2024 against Trump. If he will not do this, Stone believes he takes enough votes away from DeSantis to lose to a democrat. The fault in his thinking if Stone does accomplish this, DeSantis is totally committed to run against Trump in 2024. I imagine Stone and Trump believe this would wound DeSantis enough where DeSantis is a crippled candidate running for the Presidency.

An intelligent person would audit the voter rolls, not the election results. But ... Stone and Trump peddle delusions. I'm OK with him running. A ploy of Stone running makes Trump look weak and Stone stupid.

Trump will screw over any Republican thinking about running in 2024....DeSantis first up, he's getting way more attention than Trump.

There is still time to turn those poll numbers around in the Democrats' favor. Get rid of the filibuster.

Biden's approval numbers look they have bottomed out at about 43%, but we will see.
the last two presidents that had to deal with inflation lost.
