I'm more into the biology end of the discussion. I don't follow the politics at all. Hobby lobby, the retailer, really ? Is that like Wal-Mart taking a stance on gun control ? Too funny. No it’s like the Supreme Court deciding that a company could put their religious views before science and law in a manner that limits the actions of others. OK

Women's heath? What about the baby's health? Women's rights? What about the baby's rights? Hypocrisy is amazing We have abysmal mortality rates for our wealth. Maybe we should work on that first. Save the born babies and then save the unborn babies.

Women's heath? What about the baby's health? Women's rights? What about the baby's rights? Hypocrisy is amazing A 5 day embryo is not a "baby". It is actually a blastocyst, You are fine with taking living babies from their mothers and caging them. What about THEIR rights? The hypocrisy is stunning.

You're the one who thinks people shouldn't get health care if they didn't plan, prepare, or work 100 hours a week. You've got yours so screw everyone else. How's that for amazing hypocrisy??

I hope she gets her judgement against the pharmacist ...... and whoever hired him. He needs to be in a different profession so his 'personal reasons' won't interfere with his job performance. Not acceptable behavior. The people that Trump has stocked the courts with, the ones that you have posted numerous times were the sole reason you voted for him. . . supports people being able to deny services to those who go against their religious beliefs. This includes medical professionals. Did you think it would stop at the A word and gender reassignment surgery?

I'm trying to remember to say embryo rights as well as fetus rights... because 2/3 of all abortions are before 8 weeks... so not even a fetus. every sperm is sacred

It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

Okay, folks. Let's get off the moral righteousness track and back onto the topic of law. Thanks.

A fetus is not a baby. Your straw man doesn't work here. (and for a majority it's not even a fetus, just an embryo...) I'll laugh and ignore the idea that most people who are interested in 'fetus rights' are at all interested in 'baby rights'... because they mostly just want to have 'parent rights' to do whatever the fuck they want to the child after it is born... or lock it in a cage, or let it go without food or health care... etc ... If you want a real example of hypocrisy. Then the majority is wrong, a beating heart is a living human......

Anyone calling for the eradication of the ACA is pro death, plain and simple.

Well... there is something called brain dead and it allows medical personnel to turn off life support under certain circumstances (mostly to do with permission of the medical POA). You are kind of lacking a step in your assessment.

Women bear the ultimate responsibility for carrying an unwanted pregnancy to term—often as single parents, earning wages that are much lower than men’s. It is not a coincidence that female-headed households are the most likely families to be living in poverty in the U.S. today. For all these reasons, the decision whether to terminate a pregnancy should belong to the pregnant woman alone.
