Looking for podcasts that might appeal to my 11 yo DD. I haven't really ventured into podcasts so I'm at a loss for what to help her load on the mp3 player that she wanted for Christmas. Fictional stories would be nice, but non-fiction, history, or trivia type stuff would be good too.

I want to help you because I love podcasts, but I don't have any first hand knowledge. You could try 'Be-tween' - but that isn't fiction. You may want to listen to make sure it is going to work for her.
Once you start listening to a certain type of podcast, you will get advertising for podcasts that target a similar audience.
You might want to try Audible. They aren't technically podcasts, but there will be a lot more fiction there. There is a free section, and they will give you a lot of marketing to join. There are other apps that say they are free, but I have no experience or advice.

Maybe audible doesn't have a free section.
They do have a free trial - but unless you plan on paying, don't get too attached.

There is one that is a 'behind the scenes' look at Frozen 2.

I would suggest you listen to them before you tell your daughter -
Smash, Boom, Best
Bookclub for kids

I googled "podcast for tweens" and tons of links came up. I didn't get into them simply because I wouldn't know if they were appropriate for your tween. But maybe start there?
