But the spineless GOP Senators will back him no matter what facts are presented. No removal from office until the election.

three GOP Senators recently commented that what Trump did amounted to an impeachable offense. and yes, of course, I realize that this doesn't even get impeachment to a simple majority. but that is before the articles have even passed Judiciary.

Didn't we have a discussion about the minor kids? We did have a discussion that it was inappropriate to involve them. It was wrong of her to make the comment and she has apologized.

Would she be biased in her position?? Democrat!
A professor of law at Stanford Law School,
Stanford, even farther to the Left than most of Cali.,, The second I seen she was a professor at Stanford, I thought Oh crap, a beyond belief Liberal! She went on to clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun ultimately became one of the most liberal justices on the Court. He is best known as the author of the Court's opinion in Roe v. Wade!
Karlan was appointed by the Obama administration!
I am not sure we could get any father to the Left than this!!

A great example of that "shotgun" approach to defense against impeachment. Attack the background of witnesses.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., attempted to shut down a reporter on Thursday, telling him not to "mess" with her after he suggested that she might hate the president. Nancy Pelosi snaps at reporter ... Another great example of how the "defense" of President Trump will proceed, attempting to make the Democratic leadership of the House look bad. "See, they aren't any better than the president in temperament."

Didn't we have a discussion about the minor kids? We did have a discussion that it was inappropriate to involve them. It was wrong of her to make the comment and she has apologized. She did mention the child's name but she did not comment on the child at all. What she did say was that trump could not make his son a "baron" In other words, trump is NOT ROYALTY! I am not so sure in this circumstance an apology was even warranted.
Now had Karlan said anything about the behavior of the kid or even his looks, that would have been a completely different situation. But IMO the comment was 100% aimed at dt and 0% at the son and all the outrage shown about this is fake and nothing but yet more deflection from the actual issue at hand
www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/baron
Definition of baron 1a: one of a class of tenants holding his rights and title by military or other honorable service directly from a feudal superior (such as a king) b: a lord of the realm : NOBLE, PEER

Policies aside Pelosi and McConnell are ruthlessly efficient at being in a leadership role and keeping their side in line for their objectives.

Obama appointed Law professors at a private university (a real one, as opposed to the fake Trump University)? And according to your own link he did that 10 years before he even was president ( In 1998, Karlan joined the faculty of Stanford Law School. ) Holy Sh*t, we have another member of the wizardry contingent with cloaks, wands and all that good stuff !!!

Stanford is not liberal, imo. my dad graduated from there, and he was a Limbaugh Republican. that school is "Ivy League West", similar in makeup to the schools that Trump went to. it is one of the most conservative schools in CA.
Stanford has a fierce rivalry with Cal Berkeley, which is, indeed, quite liberal, and a public school. it is so extreme, that when someone wearing a Stanford hat was spotted at a game (not sure when this happened), he was asked to leave OVER THE PA.
just because a university is in CA does not make it liberal. no more so than any other school, anyway.

Nancy Pelosi snaps at reporter ... Another great example of how the "defense" of President Trump will proceed, attempting to make the Democratic leadership of the House look bad. "See, they aren't any better than the president in temperament." I don’t know if this is Pelosi having enough and making a mistake or she planned it if given an opportunistic question. Policies aside Pelosi and McConnell are ruthlessly efficient at being in a leadership role and keeping their side in line for their objectives. Note the italicized and bolded words I have emphasized below and above. "As a Catholic, I resent your using the word hate in a sentence that addresses me. I don't hate anyone. I was raised in a way that is a heart full of love and always pray for the president. And I still pray for the president. And I pray for the president all the time, so don't mess with me when it comes to words like that," she said.
Sinclair reporter James Rosen had asked Pelosi: "Do you hate the president?"
"I don't hate anybody," she initially shot back. She wagged her finger and pointed at Rosen, telling him not to accuse her of hating someone. Rosen denied doing so. The reporter "... suggested she might". She "attempted to shut down", "snaps", "shot back", wagged her finger", and "not to accuse her". Note from this Fox News story there is a very different tone to what the reporter "did" and what she "did". Compare what it is reported she did and the words that are a direct quote. What has really been revealed here is that you have become such a far right extremist that you label a moderate Demo from a conservative school as “farther to the left than that” simply because she donated some money to democrats. Remember, your Repo-Con party has hung it’s hat on the concept that money is ‘free speech’. Why do you want to abrogate her rights to 1st amendment guarantees while at the same time worshipping the 2nd. You can’t get farther to the right than that.

So, using your logic, the only people who we should listen to, when it comes to Donald Trump, are pro-Trump far right supporters, because they are not biased? Everyone else just hates the Donald and can safely be ignored?
What we need are clones of Barr who will nod and smile and insist that Trump can do whatever the fuck he likes because he's a god walking among mortals? Very unlikely any of those kinds of people will dare to criticize Trump. Which is, I guess, exactly what you want - someone to rubber stamp whatever the Donald does.
