Two books for kiddie Christmas gifts, on-line due to me having the worst cold of the year. Strangely, though there is no Thanksgiving celebration here, Black Friday exists. Sometimes it starts already on Thursday. Both are normal working days.
Else, we've found nothing that we need or would buy anyway (like the above gifts).

I got an oil change for the truck...$200. I wish they had a Black Friday special 😐 OMG. $200? Let me guess. You waited too many miles and they charged by the hour to chip the old stuff out. Or it's a Mack or a Freightliner.

Stocking stuffers. Socks and a couple 2-4$ dvds with digital. Stock photo credits. Michaels gingerbread kits and ornaments for the kiddos at family Christmas. Minimal. I still go because my friend from high school and I go every year but honestly I’m tired of it and think I’ll suggest doing something different going forward.

Not even for me? You didn't get me some chocolate? You didn't even buy me a new pair of socks? I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and figure that you put me first on your list and have already shopped for me.

Denver Nuggets tickets for younger son Cell phone holders for in their cars for both kids A new Contego travel mug for me
And now that you all were talking about Target bras, I just ordered 9 of them. I was going to hit up VS today because they're one of the few places that have my size, and would have paid about 5 times as much, so this was a huge savings!

It looks like I will be buying a kitchen sink! We are remodeling the kitchen in a couple months.
Also, likely a couple tires for my mom's can that I will be selling, but need to drive a couple days while my van is in the shop.

Boots for me and Gwen I like to pounce on the $19 JCP boot deal to replace worn pairs. Coloring books for my mom and some books for the kids. Abby got mom a stuffed Olaf. That was Barnes and Noble. Finished my Shutterfly order got 50% off that. Then some new clothes and bras. I finally found a bra brand that fits and I wanted two more so I can rotate and hopefully not have them fall apart like every VS bra I've ever bought. Yo, the True bra collection at Target is the best. I bought Aerie bras. They are part of the American Eagel parent company. This is the first women's size bra I've owned that fits AND looks good. I didn't have to settle or have to shop in the training bar section at 35 years old. I'm small enough I go braless a lot to avoid the soul sucking experience but that's not always doable. I found the store while taking Gwen to Justice a couple weeks ago. I got another nude bra yesterday and also my first pretty bra. I've never had one.

Can I just say that I love the Stila liquid eyeshadows I got. It's so sparkly and I am down with it. And it's not creasing. Yay!

Yesterday: Ipad mini for DH, $450 Philosophy gift set for SIL $75 Small lincoln logs set, 4 board games, a polly pocket compact and a dollhouse fireplace set for DS $120 total And filled 3 prescriptions just to get some extra spending in. Wouldn‘t be so bad if I hadn’t spent a ton in the days leading up to black friday. Another $90 or so on clothes for DS-jacket, snow pants, gloves, socks, shirts, pajamas. $140 or so on games and a new joycon for the Switch. DH needs new work shirts and I tend to go for good quality; about $475 total for 8 shirts (4 brooks brothers, 3 charles tyrwhitt, 1 todd shelton bc DH likes to support made in america but holy crap they’re expensive.). $180 or so on goodies for DH‘s aunts and uncles. $150 in gift cards for teachers/babysitter. Still don‘t have any ideas for my dad. MIL and FIL are DH‘s problem. We‘ll need to get some stuff for the pup but if I buy it now DH will just give it to him ahead of time.

I bought some tees, hoodie, and a dress for my 3 nieces at somewhere called Hot Topic online. I just clinked the link I was sent. I bought FairyTale Brownies for my sister's Christmas present. They are good, but not for the price. However, it was always what my husband wanted to send so one last time. I bought me some all-in-one paint to do my dining room furniture. I had to empty them for the flooring project, and it seems a waste of energy not to do them before putting everything back. I did buy one toy yesterday on Amazon but not because it was BF. I have had the littles' Christmas list for a few weeks now and have been spreading everything out so that I get the free $1 off digital purchases to fund my Kindle addiction.

Finished my Shutterfly order got 50% off that. Then some new clothes and bras. I finally found a bra brand that fits and I wanted two more so I can rotate and hopefully not have them fall apart like every VS bra I've ever bought. When my daughter got to her teen years I spent a lot of time shopping at VS for her, so I now share a bra obsession with her. I have a couple of drawers in the closet with bras in them. I have so many mine don't seem to fall apart. I do have a few VS workout bras that I am less than thrilled with how they stand up in the wash though. I went to Kohl's for $7.41 fleece throws. I came home with fleece snowman throws and pillows. Then I decided I was not thrilled with the way they looked and went downstairs and got out last year's pillows. I decided I just needed throws to go with the old pillows. I also bought two sets of bathroom rugs, and three sets of towels. I got a real pretty white/red/tan plaid, tan, and paisley tan towels and brown and tan rugs. (I have 3 bathrooms). the towels were so cheap-bath towels $3.92 and hand towels $3.27. My throws were $16.48 each. I also bought wrapping paper and a coffee pot for the basement kitchen for $6.64. I spent $276.95 then went back in the evening with DH and he spent 302.07. He bought pants, jeans, underwear, coffee thermos and I had apair of isotoner gloves for $20.39. We also ran in to his SIL, she was buying pillows. On Thursday, I placed an on-line order for DD for a pair of boots from Kohl's and she wants a Go-pro. My son wanted one last year and I refused to buy him one, so I ordered two. I told DD she had to promise not to use it in the car. She said she wanted it for her trips. My son records his Power lifting all the time, which is why I know he will use it. She was looking on the Best buy website, but ended up checking the Mfg. website and they had a "bundle with extra accessories, so we ordered from there. I will also finally pull the trigger on a new cell phone carrier/new phones (by Dec 5th). I have $150 in Kohls cash to spend by the 9th of Dec. DH has to go through his stuff and we do all returns before we spend the cash though b/c otherwise it is a losing proposition when you spend the cash and return the original item. I thought I ordered the rubbermaid container set from Target for $7.99 or so, but I just realized my order did not go through. Crap.

No, that's just the cost of having a diesel F-Series. We have an oil change appt scheduled for Tuesday. It's done regularly and on schedule and costs that much.

Okay, I did spend more than I thought I would in one day. It was all planned spending though. It was taking advantage of sales as opposed to sales taking advantage of me.
Aveda had a 20% off plus one free regular sized bottle of a choice of four. I bought two items I'd buy anyway and was waiting for a sale and free shipping. Also picked up two Christmas gifts.
Pottery Barn had the plates we already have on sale. Several of our plates had chipped over the last five years. I ordered a new set. It was $40 less than normal, and it's the first time I've seen them on sale. It was also with free shipping.
Dick's Sporting Goods had everything 25% off and free shipping. I ordered running socks for DH and DS#1. These would have been purchased at some point in the next month regardless as it's a general Christmas present for those two. Running socks are expensive but do help the feet not hurt so much.
Philosophy had a 40% off sale. I purchased my night face cream and a cleanser--both of which I'd need anyway. I also picked up a few Christmas gifts for my daughters and DILs.
Ann Taylor had a massive clearance +15% off sale. I did need two more cardigans as my green cardigan had faded spots and I hadn't had a navy cardigan in a while. I did buy more as there was a price point to get to free shipping. However, I bought DD#1 work clothes that she'll get for Christmas and her birthday on Jan 3. So, they did get more of my money than I initially thought, but I would have made these purchases somewhere at some point in the next few weeks anyway.
I did start an Amazon cart, but I don't think I finished that as there was nothing I actually was getting per Black Friday standards. It's more grocery purchases and the sales weren't ending or were non-existent for what I needed to purchase.

I went to Kohls, Walmart, and Michael's on Thanksgiving night. Some books, puzzles, picture frames, PJs for me, and a few other little things. Total about $150.
Then did online amazon yesterday - toys for the kids. About $115.

$475 for a vet bill for the dog. A three-pack of air filters for the furnace. 😂 You rebel, youI got an 8qt instant pot. Debating now if I should have gotten a different model than the 6qt I have. I wanted the extra space for when I do collard greens and to be able to do a whole chicken. I also got a couple of shirts and pair of pants from kohl’s. I’ve gained weight again and have hardly anything I can wear to work. I also got wallflower refills from bath and body works. I plan to put up my Xmas tree tomorrow. I always get live, but this year might get one that is flocked. If I do get a flocked tree I might need new ornaments. I picked up 6 one hour float sessions at a float therapy place right by my house, 39 bucks each which is a great price. I may gift a few to family. I also got my nephew’s present. I’m still debating on upgrading my dishwasher. I have the money set aside, but not sure I feel like fooling with the delivery and set up. On the other hand I want matching appliances. Oooh, interesting. I live in such a rural area that I've never heard of that. Is it a therapy pool? Like 90-degree water?I got an oil change for the truck...$200. I wish they had a Black Friday special 😐 Yeah, that's Tuesday for us.

We spent the day hiking the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin, put in eight miles before it started to get dark.
On the drive home we stopped at Cabela's and I got an inexpensive sleeping bag that was not on sale. We are gearing up to go camping in milder weather.
There doesn't seem to be a lot that we need, although as Christmas sales heat up I may get some sheets and towels, and hiking socks.

Well, neither my daughter nor I have been a teenager in a long time. And my oldest granddaughter is in fifth grade. However, I can definitely see this as a place that the third grader would enjoy shopping at when she is older. She is already a fashionista at age 10.
