I have been haunted off and on for years with this cartoon...First seen by me decades ago as a kid, possible at one of the Saturday afternoon kid matinees , .20 cents...Strand Theater , Hamden Ct I looked it up some years ago and then forgot about it...and today came to mind again and most was as I remembered, actually color brighter and so fresh, more then I remembered...Solders and military equipment depicted were more from WW1...# 2 not yet on in Europe but quickly heading toward that.. So a quick google and Viola...found again, and seasonal. I find it still very powerful...Remember, this was from 1939..almost 80 years ago...shows time really doesn't change..Hope some might appreciate it..8 1/2 minutes long.. Bye the way, a very happy and joyful Thanksgiving to all of you and yours.. -------------------------------------------

A Peace on Earth cartoon that came out in 39 would probably be a finalist for the "worst timing ever" award.
On a totally unrelated note I binged Netflix's new "Greatest Events of WWII in Color" over the weekend.

I seem to vaguely remember seeing this in my very distant past.
Thank you for showing it again.
Man has changed very little since then
