Correct.
I'm meh about Def Leppard, mildly positive about Poison.

I'm thinking tickets won't be $17 like they were last time I went.

I paid just under $550 for two Metallica tickets last year... Up front GA, but still... Well worth it though.

I watched a documentary, or movie or something about Motley Crue a few months ago. It was interesting enough that I watched the whole thing (I’m really not a movie or tv person). I like some rock music and can happily listen to it in small doses, but I don’t like it enough that I can see myself going to a concert.

Woo-hoo! I’ve seen the crue 4 or 5 times in the last 10 years. It is more nostalgia for me. They are BFs favorite 80s band. Not sure if he will actually want to go see them though.

If they play the Ravens stadium maybe. If I have to deal with the hassle and stupid traffic that is the Redskins stadium, it's not happening.
We went to the last tour.

Okay, I saw the Doobie Bros last Friday night. They forgot some lyrics and missed a few notes but it was still fun. I started going to their concerts in the 70's. I had to laugh though. Usually there's some POS group you have to suffer through for an hour before the main group comes on. Not those old farts! They started right at 8 and were done by 9:30! They catered to themselves and their audience!!

When I saw Motley Crue WAY back in the 80s, I was in the front of the crowd and when Nikki Sixx flung his hair we got sweated on, lol. It was a big thing back then. Now it's really just gross!

They usually have an intermission and jokingly say they need to pee now that they are old.

Hey swamp, Do you still lust over over-the-hill rock "stars" like Kid Rock and The Vince-bury-Dough-Boy Neil?

Yeah, I got spit on by Jon Bon Jovi in 1987. I managed to push myself to the front row of a general admission crowd. Good times.

Speaking of sober, the DJ on Ozzy's Boneyard said this morning there are rumors "they" want Vince to lose weight for the tour, and apparently his response was Tommy should stop drinking.

Vince does need to lose weight. I can't imagine performing for him right now is easy. And both should probably stop drinking.

My DH said it's in the contract that Vince has to lose 30 pounds and quit drinking or the tour doesn't happen. I also heard there was a fight between Vince and Tommy over who needed to go to rehab.
I'm kind of meh over the local stops. Not what I was thinking, Nationals stadium and Hersheypark stadium.

I got my tickets today, so I'll be taking my son to the concert in Seattle. Unless he won't/can't go, then I'll find someone else to take with me. Went for nosebleed tickets, even though they aren't really "cheap" anymore.

SIGH. Well, I tried. I carefully selected seats, came to terms about the cost, pulled out a plastic to pay, and then the system wanted me to verify who I was via email. I did and it said to go back to my transaction, which of course is gone, and so are those particular seats. I miss the days of buying at the box office or the local record store. ETA: Done. Floor seats, row 4. Taking my sister.

The concert is a 4 to 5 hour drive for me (or more, if there is a shooting on the freeway!) But, I'm used to it, since all events pretty much require a drive. Next debate is do I get a room for the night, or just drive home after the concert (we've done a same-day trip to see The Book of Mormon, but it was a matinee, so the drive home wasn't that late). Glad you were able to get tickets, Iggy aka IG! My son said he'd go with me. I do my best to introduce him to all things 80s and 90s, since most of it is much better than his generation's crap
