Sonderland, the hotel magnate who donated a million bucks to Trump's campaign and go rewarded with being ambassador to the European Union, testified at the impeachment inquiry again this week and this time admitted that he told a top Ukrainian that their country would most likely not get American military aid unless it publicly announced it was doing the investigations Trump wanted.
Last time around, he claimed he did nothing wrong and there was no quid pro quo. Guess he got nervous he would get caught in a lie and thrown under the bus if he didn't go on the record and admit the quid pro quo, given how many other witnesses have come forward saying Sonderland did know it was quid pro quo.
At least now they can't get him on perjury. Going to be hard for Trump to blow him off as a 'never trumper' though, since they are pals.

Deep state plant.

I think Sonderland paid attention to what happened to Trump's other buddies, like Roger Stone, Michael Cohen and Manafort.
Trump's casting around for someone to blame, since his plan to call this a continuation of a witch hunt is failing to stick, with the discovery of so many actual witches. If Giuliani was smart, he'd be going on the record, too, but something's off with Giuliani. He's like a sheep walking into a lion's den, can't see the danger of his predicament. Maybe he's so dazzled at being the President's private lawyer he's blind to what could happen. He may end up the scapegoat, if he doesn't pay attention.

I was not clear if Sonderland was saying Trump directed the Quid Pro Quo or if he was taking responsibility for it himself.

So, did he commit perjury then, or now?

So, did he commit perjury then, or now? Based on the testimony of others, then.

Oh no, right now he still thinksTrump is hoing to win. The minute he thinks he might really go to prison he is going to sing long and loud. Especially if he gets the idea that Trump won't have the power to pardon him.
