That's a lot of reading- I presume your dispute is with the claim that Al Baghdadi was the founder of ISIS? So, you do not dispute: 1. Al Baghdadi was in US Custody in Iraq 2. President Obama presided over his release 3. He went on to lead ISIS. What'a lot to read? A couple of paragraphs? It states the guy was released in 2004. I'm sure that's not correct. I'm going to go with the people who were there and not "Department of Defense Records".

Before, during, or after SNL; Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi would still be just as dead. Um, yeah- you missed the point that for satire to actually be funny, it usually has to contain an element of truth, or a reference to some culturally relevant meme, or if in this case- it's essentially commentary- it helps greatly if it makes some kind of sense. Good satire doesn't have to be conservative- that's not my point-- though, this- posted by the Babylon Bee with the headline: Hillary Clinton Accidentally Posts Condolences For Tulsi Gabbard's Suicide One Day Earlyis funny. But it could just as easily be this: Trump Declares Clocks Will Fall Back To 2017 This Year Granting Him Extra Time In Office
You also find funny blasting your boat horn at drivers who are in your way on the interstate. Most folks don't find that funny.

My favorite shitbird move of the day, though, has to be the #FakeNews headline game. Among countless other victims of ISIS, American hostage Kayla Mueller was tortured, verbally abused, forced into slave labor for ISIS commanders in Syria and raped by Al Baghdadi. This rapist is who media called "austere religious scholar" (WaPo) and "spiritually gifted" (NYT). I no longer see a way back for the media. How do they possibly begin to rebuild credibility after this? WaPo edited their headline after backlash, but the fact that "backlash" is required is what's concerning to me.

[b I’m sure Pope Francis believes the Catholic Church has rebuilt its credibility after many “austere religious scholars” and “spiritually gifted” were guilty of crimes equal to or greater than Bagdoody. The church has had plenty of media support over the years.

What a time for a major Presidential statement. linkYes, he should have held it Saturday night for all the stoners on the west coast who would not know a world event was pulled off, when the east cpoast is basically out partying and not sitting at home watching Saturday night live and MSNBC. Besides that we know no one on the west coast would be happy with Trump getting another win on the war on terror. Better to do it in prime time like Obama did to garner full media backing. In the case Saturday they had to retrieve body parts and piece the terrorist back together before confirming his death.

What a time for a major Presidential statement. linkPlease update this stupid thread title so people know what we're discussing? The death of ISIS founder is confirmedJohn Brennan on the death of Osama bin Laden: "We thought the best way to ensure that his body was given an appropriate Islamic burial was to take those actions that would allow us to do that burial at sea." He continued, "appropriate specialists and experts" were consulted, and that the US military was fully capable of carrying out the burial "consistent with Islamic law". President Trump today: "A brutal killer, one who has caused so much hardship and death, has violently been eliminated...He died like a dog. He died like a coward. The world is now a much safer place... [he] spent his last moments in utter fear, in total panic and dread, terrified of the American forces bearing down on him." No word on a burial "consistent with Islamic law". ISIS was not founded by al-Baghdadi. It was founded by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi who was killed by an airstrike in 2006. ISIS was a splinter group of al-Qaeda in Iraq. It just renamed itself after al-Zarqawi was killed.

What happened to her is truly tragic. It crushes my heart when people who are doing good and helping are hurt, punished, tortured, killed or any combination thereof. al-Baghdadi was a monster and ISIS is a nightmare organization that we should continue to monitor and stomp down when it continues to pop up. This goes for any future iterations of ISIS, as this group changes its name periodically.

No Later...what has been reported is that DT made it MUCH harder for this mission by pulling troops without talking with anyone. He's has no idea what he is doing and no one can control him. He is a small child running wild with no punishment & no parental controls.

Can't really comprehend complex and nuanced problems.
