In watching the actions , faces and rhetoric of those Republicans who invaded the security room ..they were not members of the committee , it looked like a mob scene, out of control . I have said / posted here..my feeling that if the Donald is defeated in the 2020 election..he will not go quietly...I believe he will call on his base ..possible the GOP members of congress , to disrupt..to threaten...to do anything to not accept the election results... Will claim election was fake, like fake news..dishonest..treasoness ..that he is still the POTUS...This invasion is how I believe it will look...Some of the speakers were run amuck...out of control...voices raised to the cealing even though speaking into microphones.. Not the first time congressionals went out of control..Had read that just before civil war, a southern Senator..believe from South Carolina, took his heavy walking cane and beat to the ground a Senator from a Northern State who disagreed with him.. ----------------------------------------------------- www.yahoo.com/news/trump-signed-off-on-gop-crashing-impeachment-testimony-bloomberg-says-183708255.html

You could say that trump incited this action (along the lines of shouting fire in a theater) with his message on Monday: " President Trump delivered a pointed message Monday to Republicans beginning to break from their White House ally amid Democrats’ escalating impeachment investigation: Fight harder for me.
“Republicans have to get tougher and fight,” Trump said during a Cabinet meeting at the White House. “We have some that are great fighters, but they have to get tougher and fight because the Democrats are trying to hurt the Republican Party for the election.”

Maybe we should add inciting civil unrest to the charges against trump. Though he would probably just hide behind the "I didn't say go into a secured facility during a closed meeting". Cadet bonespurs would never do something like that would he now?

It wouldn't shock me to find out if he'd planned the entire thing, and had his minions do the dirty work.
The sad part is, if anyone gets arrested or fined, he'll claim he doesn't even know these people.

One of the more respected professional polling outlets..Quinipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut latest poll shows 55% of the country is ok with investigation of the Donald for possible impeachment... Granted GOP members don't agree..support about 88% in favor of the man but offset by Dems...and many more of them..like 90% in favor of outing and over 50% of independents which is not good news for the Donald... ------------------------------------------ fox61.com/2019/10/23/quinnipiac-poll-support-for-impeachment-inquiety-reaches-55-percent/

This is exactly why the original whistleblower who started this Ukrainian investigation can't be outed.
Trump has already called him a traitor and various other nasty things. Despite what one of our board members firmly believes, the far right (especially the skin head neo Nazi brigade) are primed and ready to do violence for their dear leader. The whistleblower and his family would be toast.
We have to hope the rational, moderate GOPers, the ones who aren't suggested the nation be 'cleaned out' of Dems and Never Trumpers, are able to override the violent far righties, should Trump lose the next election.

Related to your post: U.S. Jews blame Republicans more than Democrats for anti-Semitism, see far right as bigger ‘threat’ than liberals and Islamic radicals combinedDespite President Trump’s best efforts, American Jews blame Republicans for anti-Semitism more so than Democrats. They also view the far-right as a more serious threat than the far left and Islamic extremists combined. A new study published by the American Jewish Committee indicates 17% of Jews surveyed believe the GOP bears total responsibility for anti-Semitism, while only 6% think the Democrats are to blame. That research also shows 49% of respondents believe the extreme political right represents a “very serious threat" to them, while 29% rated the threat level as “moderately serious.” Only 15% of those asked said the far left constituted a “very” serious threat, with another 21% calling the danger posed by liberals as moderately serious. Many posters here say he is not their President. He is in their head. I am not one of them. Can you tell me what song I am referencing? There are a couple of them you might choose from.

Maybe start a thread on the Games board where the posters have to guess the song title from the few lyrics offered. I might play there.

Talk about people having the Donald inside their head, makes me think of a song with the lyrics, "In my head, in my head"............ You mean a President of the United States of America that sends highly respected members of Congress to disrupt hearings. You know, the same ones that only a few years ago held secret meeting about Hillary....know what song is stuck in my head:
I'm a fool to do your dirty work Oh yeah I don't wanna do your dirty work No more I'm a fool to do your dirty work Oh yeah

"Your correct..I learned these fact after I posted ...GOP members have all the rights to question those giving testimony....GOP is looking more idiotic daily...If Dems win all around in 2020...beyond the hard core base...so many belonging to fring hate groups...allways been there...I wonder how long it will take before they fully recover from the Donald and the GOP's kissing of his butt....if ever. {They will because the Dems will antagonize and screw up somewhere along the line..these politicals all ways seem to do that..hopefully we will have a long time so much of the Donalds disaster will be repaired..Be interesting to see how his museum will handle him and if opposition puts up a alternate museum featuring all the corrections of his claims..

I think it was a very asinine move. It amazes me how many of the GOP have prostituted themselves to extreme stupid, Trump, and flat out bad behavior. His followers shut down that woman who was raped as a girl who accused Trump of rape by death threats. Some have become amoral people with no guiding values except to win. That's not Christian values. Its the opposite.
