for POTUS...…………….I agree with him...always liked and supported Dodd when in Senate...IMHO the article kind of hits it right on the nail head...for me anyway. ================================= "Dodd, who represented Connecticut in the Senate from 1981 to 2011, said he is backing Biden because he believes the former vice president is the candidate who can defeat Republican President Donald Trump next year and chart a new direction for the nation." Chris "Countrywide" Dodd embodies the exact kind of institutional Washington political establishment corruption Joe Biden is currently caught up in. This endorsement not only will not help Biden, it's actually one of the worst endorsements he could get. You've got one of the "Friends of Angelo" talking about restoring the soul of America? I mean you have to be fucking kidding me right now. Bear in mind: we've got a President unafraid to "go there". He will get out a shovel and bury Biden with this. www.entrepreneur.com/article/196180

Dude, reality doesn’t look serious or real because you don’t live here. 2020 is going to be a political earthquake- a reckoning your side desperately needs. Much like your 2018 red tsunami, eh? How did that work out for you? I underestimated how effective Paul Ryan's surrendering of the House would be. It worked. All in all, my prediction was more right than wrong. There was no "blue wave"- the GOP expanded its grip on the Senate, and Dems, who were predicted to win 60 plus House seats and 12 Senate Seats-- how'd that work out? Democrats are in the process of surrendering the White House and Congress. Impeachment is a tar baby. They're stuck with it- they can't drop it or they'll lose the nutters they need to hang on, and they can't actually go through with it or the wildly unpopular position will kill them with moderate and independent swing voters- that's why they've opted for fake impeachment. They'll never hold a vote because they can't go on record-- and the vote will fail. If the vote succeeded, the Senate would rapidly acquit and Trump would have been vindicated a fifth time. So, they're going to twist in the wind for another year trying to be "a little bit pregnant" on the impeachment issue-- and it's going to backfire. Bigly. And that's if the "Squad" doesn't get in the way and Tulsi doesn't gum up the works in the primary. Throw in Parscale's machine-- the formidable Trump ground game, and his natural buoancy in the polls and the actual facts on the ground- the Trump economic miracle, trade deals, finally getting us out of endless wars- among other things, and to be optimistic about Dems would not make much sense.

I have to give you credit. I have never in my life seen anyone so absolutely convinced about their rightness while being so utterly, incredibly wrong pretty much always. I don't even think Trump himself can challenge you on that score. You can say with a straight face that you were more right than wrong when you would actually have been considered epically, historically wrong? Unbelievable. First, nobody, ANYWHERE, was predicting the Democrats would pick up 60+ House seats. There was pretty good evidence that they would pick up the 23 they needed to take control but it was not assured. You as I recall predicted a +12 for the Republicans. How did that go? I recall telling you that Republicans only had to win 55 of the last eleven undecided races for you to be correct. More right than wrong? And nobody, ANYWHERE, was predicting the Democrats would gain 12 Senate seats. Do you know why? Because it would have been F***ING IMPOSSIBLE! The Republicans only had nine seats up for re-election, and most were considered safe. Please tell us how the Democrats could win twelve of the nine available seats, and how anyone this side of a raving lunatic would predict a +12? And let's go back a few years. I recall you claiming that Romney could likely get over 370 electoral votes in 2012, and that no matter what happened it would be a blowout for him. More right than wrong? Nobody, ANYWHERE, is more consistently wrong on their political predictions. And not only wrong, but utterly, incredibly, epically, historically, mind-blowingly wrong. Pretty much always.

Nailed it with a silver hammer and a golden nail. At some point one would hope that a poster would realize they cannot pass off such ridiculous lies and bulllsh** to someone who: 1. Cares about the truth. 2. Cares about the issue. 3. Is smarter than they are. Then again, lunatics are not often blessed with self-awareness.

Like I said- run of the mill moderate Republican billionaire from Manhattan. You guys calling him a "far right racist" is laughable. What is even funnier is you calling him a Republican. He'd throw you all under the bus if it benefitted him. Well, there's where you're wrong. He may not be my ideological fellow traveler, but like FDR- with whom I disagree on virtually everything, and who more than any other POTUS with the possible exception of LBJ, put us in the mess we're in today- he's a patriot. People without TDS see this quite clearly though we may disagree with him on many issues.

I'm sorry- who got the GOP nomination in 2016? And who beat Hillary? And Bob Mueller is...where is he these days? And who is still POTUS? I did say "pretty much always" because even a broken clock can be right twice a day, but let's examine those: Trump did get the nomination, due mostly to the short-sightedness and gullibility (not to mention hypocrisy and stupidity) of GOP voters. He was a horrible person and candidate, mere marketer and conman, and promised to be a horrible president. He has sadly fulfilled that expectation to a worse degree than most thought possible, and even his supporters are starting to realize that now. He beat Hillary, who was a flawed candidate herself, but how many things can you attribute that to? In no particular (maybe chronological?) order, there was the death of Beau Biden which caused Joe Biden not to run. Joe would most likely have beaten Trump easily. There was the possible (probable?) influence of foreign nationals or countries, which is at least arguable. There was the systematic disenfranchisement of voters by far-right conservatives, which is documented. There was the poor campaign run by Clinton, who was not an inspiring choice to begin with, and a poor choice by James Comey which likely caused late-deciding voters to break for Trump. Primarily, however, there was the historical anachronism called the Electoral College, which should have been abolished a century ago and twice in 16 years has served to subvert the will of the American people. The American people did not vote for Donald Trump. 2.9 million more voted for Hillary Clinton. Bob Mueller did his job, laying out the argument for 10 cases of obstruction of justice. He was constrained by the prevailing opinion that he could not charge a sitting president, but did basically state that there was enough evidence to charge Trump once he was out of office, and implied strongly that he would have charged Trump if he could have. And Trump is still president...for now. I'll say again that it took only one month for public opinion to hit 50% in favor of Trump's impeachment and removal from office. It took 14 months for Richard Nixon to cross that line. I do not have a lot of faith that Republicans in the Senate have the integrity to actually put the country first and remove this idiot, but if the evidence keeps mounting, and public clamor keeps building, they may indeed be shamed into it. I do believe that, as was reported, more than 30 GOP members would vote to remove Trump if there was a secret ballot to convict. I hope they can develop enough courage to actually do their job, or that there is enough of a change in public opinion that they think they have the political cover to do what is needed.

One symptom of TDS is you think because I see President Trump clearly for what he is, that I have it....when in all reality, you are the one suffering from TDS. And like President Trump, you hear voices....of Hillary and President Obama. And don't worry, if you disagree with him on an issue, he'll change with the wind....if it benefits him.
