There's at least one town that is ignoring the ceasefire. I saw headlines on several different sites but didn't read any of the stories.

It is taking far longer than I expected for the war crimes talk to take off. I still do not doubt that something happened during the first few hours of US withdrawal and that it was captured pretty conclusively. I'm just baffled by why it is taking so long for the story of whatever happened to reach the press.

How are they going to use these against us if we are not there. rip them out of the ground drag them to where?? New York City?? Eragon had a meeting with Putin and the two of them decided their strategy would be to push the Kurdish fighters south, out of the area adjacent to the Turkey border. So Turkey and Russia, between them, have essentially taken over a chunk of Syria, including the fortifications that the US troops left behind (those that they didn't blow up). Meanwhile, the inhabitants of this area have been chunking trash at US vehicles as they retreat.
Can you use your imagination, Coyote, to come up with a scenario where US troops might have to engage in a military operation to help liberate that part of Syria from the Russians/Turks, and might need the support of the locals, or might be hindered by our old fortifications, now that Russians are using them? Or are you like Trump, and you think Putin is our BFF?

If we are retreating with fear and leaving things behind, I suggest we send in the B52, run a little bombing run like we did on the Iraq forces when they were leaving Kuwait.

What happens to the 200-300 troops DT left in Syria to "secure the oil" now?
Those he sent to Iraq can NOT STAY due to the treaty Obama signed with Iraq....where is DT going to send all of them?

"Here are the oil fields our friends the Kurds currently control, but that Iraq will control as soon as we leave."
They used to have to do the same thing for Reagan when the dementia was kicking in - show pictures.
That's why Trump suddenly started talking about how we're going to 'protect the oil.' With a handful of soldiers that he left behind, I guess.

It has taken far longer than I expected for stuff like this to emerge I'm confused. I seem to remember things from the first Iraq war, the Rwandan genocide, and the end of the conflict in Bosnia emerging much more quickly.
