Stop and think about it, trump needed a distraction away from his impeachment, we knew it would be something big, well its the kurd turkey deal. We knew it was coming then missed it.

I feel so bad for the Kurds! My ex was in the army and spent a lot of time with them when he was deployed. He talked fondly about them and what good people they are, and how hard they were fighting next to him and his fellow soldiers. To just abandon them is heartless and I hope more sane minds speak up and stop Trump from letting this happen!

I just heard no troops have been pulled out yet. I know today repubs went to meet with him, was he in the states today? Or are going to, they are very upset over that, I doubt seriously it happens. And they are also upset he wouldn't let the ambassador testify. He is getting in deep do do with his own party now. When mcconnell says something against him, that is getting serious. If he loses that tight support he is done. One can only hope.
He must be under a lot of stress right now, with his horrible diet, age, and everything else he is likely a step away from a heart attack.

All the way out of Syria or not relocated from the Northern Border area? Very significant difference.

Abandoning our "allies"...
You know how many "troops" we pulled out of Syria?
Twelve (12). We had twelve people there.

I have no idea how many, but we are still abandoning allies and also doing so without even consulting the other allies there.
With Russia and turkey ready to fire on and invade this has been a plan apparently. Just awaiting trumps go. They are ready to go now, sounds like they could start invading today.
Some congressional repubs are just now starting to get concerned. They should be, he is usurping power from congress and becoming a one man rule. That is known as a dictatorship, they may wait till to late to curb his power. We are in dangerous times.

Turkey is going into Syria as we speak into the Kurdish area.
Tweets have meaning as do trump carrying out foreign policy strictly on his own.
If we get the chance the congress needs to curb the power of rogue presidents, I guess all presidents.
Talk about an imperial presidency, now you are seeing one in action.

Tell us again how you're here to educate us ignorant peons. As of last month, the US said about 1,000 US troops were operating in northeastern Syria. Sunday's statement did not specify if this constituted a full withdrawal of personnel from the country. www.cnn.com/2019/10/07/middleeast/six-questions-syria-us-intl/index.html

SATIREGOP Lawmakers Watch Silently As Trump Strangles Each Of Their Loved Ones In TurnWASHINGTON—Opting to take more of a wait-and-see approach instead of rushing to pass judgment, Republican lawmakers reportedly looked on in silence Tuesday as President Trump worked his way through each of their families and, one by one, strangled all their loved ones to death. “After I watched the president slowly and methodically squeeze the life out of my wife’s body as she gasped, futilely, for breath, he gave me his personal assurance that he was not responsible for her death, so I continue to stand by this administration,” said Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN), who along with every Republican in both the House and Senate stated that while killing off their families in cold blood might not be entirely proper, it was certainly not an impeachable offense, no matter how the media tried to spin it. “Now, this is not an action I would have taken myself. I personally would not have wrapped my hands around my 5-year-old son’s neck and crushed his windpipe. But if Donald Trump’s approach to governing is sometimes a bit outside the ordinary, that’s because Donald Trump is no ordinary president. And maybe that’s not such a bad thing.” Rest of article here: GOP Lawmakers Watch Silently As Trump Strangles Each Of Their Loved Ones In Turn

Perhaps the "enlightened one" got confused between American troops and a carton of eggs.

The USA convinced the Kurds to dismantle their defenses. "We have your back". Now it's a slaughter, with Trump's blessing. It's a disgraceful betrayal. Nicely done!! Along these lines, a spokesperson for the the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which occupies northeastern Syria, described the move as a "stab in the back" after previously receiving "assurances from the US that it would not allow any Turkish military operations against the region." The US urged the SDF it to dismantle defensive positions on the Syrian side of the border that served as a deterrent to a Turkish military operation, with the promise that the US would not greenlight any such incursion. The Kurds followed through on this, but the US did not. www.businessinsider.com/trump-abandoning-kurds-sends-dangerous-message-us-allies-2019-10Nobody trusts the USA anymore. Nobody.

I heard today that Trump has 119 business interests in Turkey. He called it a “conflict of interest “. Furthermore, the Turks visit his properties more than any other country. Looks like another quid pro quo, this time with Erdogan. What a shameless huckster.
