Months ago I wrote an opinion piece which nails what's happening now- here's the short version:
"Obama gave implied permission to federal government employees in virtually every agency to act on their worst impulses. The investigation into the Spygate scandal (which may not even be the worst of it) is going to lead investigators down the rabbit hole to places most Americans can't even imagine. As a result, the operation is going to have to be staffed by patriots- straight-shooters with nothing but the administration of justice on their minds- and it is going to have to be airtight. The signature aspect of these investigations is going to have to be NO LEAKS. And I expect that to be the case.
Trump was framed. Anything that points at the guilt of the treasonous cabal arrayed against him will be framed by the cabal as a Trump scandal. Any attempt to work with foreign agents in Russia, Great Britain, Australia, Italy, Ukraine, or elsewhere will be framed as "soliciting foreign influence in our political process". Any prosecution of the cabal will be met with cries of "Stalinist tactics", "Dictator", "Stasi-like", "Police State" and similar accusations. They'll compare it to Putin putting his political opponents in jail, they'll conjure up "Night of the Long Knives" stories. Nothing is too far-fetched or outrageous for the crowd that blamed Obama's immigrant detention facilities on Trump and compared them to concentration camps.
Nevermind that they ruined the soon-to-be acquitted General Michael Flynn, left Paul Manafort for dead in solitary confinement, or the dawn raid of Roger Stone's home. All that was perfectly OK. But lock up the real criminals- Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Rice, Power, Strzok, Page, the Ohrs-- we must IMPEACH!
So, when Barr is finally prepared to announce the results of the real investigation into the real criminal cabal, he must move swiftly. He, Durham, Huber and likely a handful of other prosecutors must make arrests quickly, and Americans must face the truth of what happened with sober judgment and allow it to proceed.
We must plow forward however stomach-turning and upsetting it all gets. The shrieking, the weeping, the gnashing of teeth- the crying children of "dedicated public servants" being "rounded up by jack-booted government thugs" reminiscent of NAZI Germany must be simultaneously fought and ignored.
We have no other choice. The alternative is capitulation to Marxist Revolutionaries. We have to steel ourselves for the fight. We must be able to stomach it. We must defend Trump- for to do so is to defend America. If Trump fails, a wicked treasonous cabal of globalist socialist elites will take over and the United States will cease to be free- let alone great.
We are, in fact, in a civil war that has fortunately been a cold war. However, we have to fight back appropriately whatever they might bring to it. Because this battle is for all the marbles. Let us hope the majority will see through the lies and stop defending the coup conspirators.

Those of you that support the Dems have no idea of the dangers in this. The perpetrators, themselves, don't care.
This is by far and away the most cynical thing that has ever happened in American politics in my lifetime. The Gulf of Tonkin lies, Watergate, Iran/Contra, and The Lying Bastard of The Ozark Long-March pale in comparison.
These fiends really think that they have achieved their Gramscian Moment: the conquest of the institutions is complete, and the time has arrived. This could actually cost everybody *everything*.
The Right does not completely realize what's on the table. The commies do. They're all-in, because that's what they do.

So since you believe we're in a civil war, when it's time to take up arms, what kind of people are you going to hunt down & kill first? How will you be able to spot a liberal & confirm it before you kill them? Gonna ask them & then whip out your gun? Gonna stalk them online & track them down? Or are you going to gunning for brown people since there will be less effort on your part to find them?
How are you telling your fellow conservatives to prepare for the civil war? Should they stock up on food supplies (Jim Bakker is running a special on dried food in a bucket I'm sure)? have you been stockpiling weapons & ammo? When should everyone bug out to their safe space?
asking for a friend...

Months ago I wrote an opinion piece which nails what's happening now- here's the short version: I bolded the key words. You wrote an opinion piece. It was full of all sorts of words intended to stir emotions. In your opinion, there has been all kinds of evil skullduggery happening and now there is all kinds of good skullduggery happening that will cause justice to reign. The guy that beat your guy for the Republican nomination will prove himself a secret genius and master manipulator. Worthy even of the comparison between himself and Lex Luthor as President. Oh wait! Lex Luthor was impeached and sent to prison, wasn't he? By the way, what happened to your thread about the "Baby Eater"? Did the truth not match your narrative so it had to be deleted?

Trump was framed?!? Almost every time that man opens his mouth, he sticks his foot in it. He's his own worst enemy. He confesses to doing less-than-legal activities, then tries to act like it's no big deal. No one framed Trump. He dug his own grave. (And, may I add, is way more stupid than Nixon.)

I think Nixon was incredibly smart. It is too bad he was such a paranoid jackass. He probably would have gone down as one of the greatest Presidents.

I've made that case before. Freed from his personal failings he would have been very good. He still accomplished much, but how many people know anything other than Watergate?

Way more stupid than any president we've ever had. I'm not sure about that. unless you think ignorant and stupid are the same thing.
he is just kinda fundamentally lazy. same complaint I had of Bush. but Bush was studious compared to this guy.

I agree on Bush. Intellectually lazy.
I have spoken with a well-informed conservative who I believe has met both Trump and Pence, and at the very least knows a number of people who know both. The number of rooms where either would be considered the smartest person in the room is distressingly small.

No, he at least did not seem to be deluded in that way. To be clear though (in case it wasn't), the comment was referring to Trump and Pence. Neither of those two would stand out intellectually in a crowd...anywhere.

This is also false. The photo showed Biden golfing with a longtime business partner of his son, an American, who had also joined the board of Burisma. He was not the "company boss" of the Ukrainian firm.
This is from a twitter feed...I don't know how to bring those there. This is refuting the picture that DT said Biden was golfing with the "boss"! Nope, wrong again!

George Takei @georgetakei
Trumpism is like coal power: cheap, dirty, deadly. If the GOP rejects it, they’ll have no fuel for their party. But if they stick by it, they will sicken and die.
So they cling on as the belching stacks shut down, one by one, faces covered in filth, hoping for redemption.
