The head of the Federal Election Commission subtweeted President Donald Trump on Thursday after the president called on China to investigate his potential 2020 rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter.



In a post on Twitter, chair Ellen Weintraub re-surfaced a June memorandum stating that it is illegal for anyone running for public office to solicit help from a foreign national.

Despite Weintraub’s harsh, if veiled, words, the FEC is currently unable to take any official enforcement actions. Four votes are required for the commission to take action. The commission has had only three members since vice chairman Matthew Petersen resigned in August. Commissioners are appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.

Doubt there will be any appointment from trump.

There's nothing but the chief law enforcement officer in the country trying to get to the bottom of corruption admitted to on video by a former high government official. I don't believe Trump's accusations, and it bothers me that he may be eliminated from the race due to Trump's efforts.

I liked Amy and Kamala best, but my top choice is whoever can win. I still don't know who that person is.

I use straws.  I stopped buying disposable ones & bought reusable stainless steel ones.  I stopped asking for straws in a restaurant or getting any with fast food.   Problem dealt with without a meltdown, freak out, or anything that would give a conservative a hard on.
