This opinion piece, That some government workers need to be moved closer to their jurisdictions,
Like up close and personal so you can see the results of your decisions, that you make instead of sitting in a office 2000, 3000 miles away! Having to move for you job,, that's terrible,, happens a million times a week in the real job world,, Corporate world!!

It is certainly sympathetic to the people impacted by the move. I have read similar things talking about the challenges faced by corporate workers forced to relocate.

Inside the Trump Administration’s Chaotic Dismantling of the Federal Land Agency
This is where it turned into an opinion piece, first headline!

This is an old proposal that dates back almost a century and gets raised from time to time- the idea being that concentrating federal agencies and federal employees in one place- Washington, D.C.- makes it too easy for lobbyists and too easy for the government employees to forget who they work for. It's pretty hard to argue that the Washington swamp's cloistered existence has served us well.
