Hadn't really given much thought to this in years past. What do you think? Might this be time for us to tell Congress......ALL OF THEM.....to produce SOMETHING? Or, is the thought of Congress starting up just too scary to contemplate? Maybe there is something to this turmoil surrounding a comment to "buy Greenland"? Maybe this would be an ideal place to re- locate out elected representatives ……..say in a crevice in the ice a mile or two deep. You know, somewhere they would meet with no service or contact with the outside world. They could scream at each other and vilify each other to theirs hearts content and we would not have to listen or watch..... No, this is just a pipedream....all that hot air would just finish off the ice cap....

What is "National Congressional Startup Day"? Is this where they try to help 'startups'?...or something else?

What is "National Congressional Startup Day"? Is this where they try to help 'startups'?...or something else? Pretty close. CONGRESSIONAL STARTUP DAYAround the country, Congressional Startup Day creates a platform for entrepreneurs to connect with their lawmakers. The day is designed for startups to express concerns. Every small business owner aims for a flourishing business. Sometimes the struggles they face require a change in policy. When the opportunity arises to explain the issues and barriers, most startups jump at the chance. Congressional Startup Day provides that opening. The day includes a week’s worth of events in each district. Each year, representatives from Congress return to their districts. They listen to and support their small business, startups, and new entrepreneurs. Most importantly, business owners share their ideas where they developed them – in their districts. As a result, they demonstrate the impact they have on the communities in their communities. And, policymakers get a first-hand look at the benefits and concerns, too. More: CONGRESSIONAL STARTUP DAY

Well, I think some sit there & hear someone else is talking...but what is being said doesn't always sink in or if it does...the reps don't pay attention to it. If it doesn't help them in some way, most aren't interested....how much did that start up contribute to their campaign?
