If this is true, the U.S. should be greatly concerned. FOX NEWS ANALYST WARNS TRUMP IS 'LOCKING DOWN THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY FOR HIS PURPOSES'Mary Anne Marsh, a political analyst for Fox News, raised concerns on Monday that President Donald Trump appeared to be consolidating his control over the U.S. intelligence community with the nomination of GOP Representative John Ratcliffe to replace Dan Coats as director of national intelligence. "It's more about protecting Trump than America," Marsh, who previously served as a senior adviser to Democratic Senator John Kerry, warned during a segment of Fox News' America's Newsroom on Monday. "John Ratcliffe has been all over the investigate the investigators [probe], who's doing that right now? [Attorney General] Bill Barr, so Donald Trump has consolidated his control over the intelligence committees at a time when he's given Barr unprecedented access and control over all the intelligence information, which we've never seen by an attorney general before," she said. "Now he adds Ratcliffe," the analyst asserted. "So this is Trump locking down the intelligence community for his purposes, not national security purposes." I think it is unfortunate that this will be argued on this basis. I think it would be better to discuss whether John Ratcliffe has the education and experience to effectively do the job that he is being nominated to fill.

he pretty clearly fails to meet the qualifications.
but there is no set standard, so theoretically ANYONE does.
it might be easier to trip him up on his willingness to disclose information to the House.

Doesn't everyone know that has been what he's been trying to do since Day 1? He's just been a bad judge of who will be more loyal to him than your country. Is this news to anyone?

I wonder how much groundwork was laid for all the crap he is trying to pull in his undisclosed meetings with Putin?
