Bill Clinton will always be known as the man who said "I did not have sex with that woman" Mueller will be known as the man who asked "Will you repeat the question?" (and they were one sentence questions) or "I will not get into that". Democrats screwed the pooch today. Nothing new here.

From the link: On Wednesday, Mueller faced an unusually challenging situation: He was restricted in what he could say by Justice Department rules, including not discussing matters related to ongoing investigations. And as a private citizen, he no longer had the benefit of Justice Department resources to prepare for the high-pressure hearing. He had announced he would not comment on any question of anything not in the report. He set the perimeter of the questions. Evidently he should have read the report. He obviously did not write it. Anything, anything but substance.

So.....Mueller says collusion is not the correct term, and it should be conspiracy, and yet in the report the investigation found no collusion, hence, no comnspiracy. Nice and simple. Case closed. Democrats exited stage right, heads down.

I remember when Mueller announced he was done with the investigation and I wondered if he was suffering health issues. Today, even when the democrats asked him simple questions he was "halting" in his answers and many times on simple questions he asked for the question to be repeated. He seemed confused about the actual report and what it said.......and refused to answer whether he wrote the report........ Democrats are dieing from a thousand paper cuts today. Yeh, they will yell they proved obstruction, but the fact is there are more questions going into the second part of the questioning that makes this report look lacking in many ways. I see someone else saw the "halting responses" Mueller made early today. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/mueller-appears-halting-and-quiet-in-long-anticipated-hearing/ar-AAENFh7Imagine that. Someone who is thinking before he speaks. If only trump would offer "halting responses".

Mueller's a slacker! You and me could do better than Mueller.

both the WH and MUELLER HIMSELF have demanded that nothing that is not in the report be released or mentioned. so, how is he supposed to do that without reading it verbatim?
Parent: can you unload the silverware and dishes from the dishwasher? Child: sure!
10 mins later
Parent: you forgot to unload the pots and pans from the dishwasher. Child: you told me to unload the silverware and dishes. i unloaded the silverware first, and then the dishes. Parent: why don't you ever listen to me?
ridiculous, right? yeah. i think so, too.

Exactly. Mueller probably could have spoken quite a bit about what led to findings in the final report. Mueller's hands were tied by Barr and trump. If that is not the case, then Muller is suffering from EBOLA and has just hours to live.

Democrats exited stage right, heads down. I agree that they did not find substantial evidence that Trump was working with Russia to get elected. But, they did find 10 instances where he broke the law by interfering with an investigation. The premise that because they couldn't prove a crime therefore there is no obstruction is a clear misstatement of the law.

No, Mueller said Trump was not found 100% innocent and they think they found smoke but could not find any matches or lighter fluid that led directly to Trump, or any member of his organization and as we all know Prosecuters either find a person innocent, guilty, or say no evidence to further pursue the case but do not use the term " Not Exonerated" as this is not in the legal description of any of our laws pertaining to Prosecuters and individuals being investigated. Let's just keep it in legal terms which is what counts. Or continue this course and guarentee his re-election. MSM and the democrats should be done with impeachment talk. ACTUALLY I hope they continue on this course. It assures his election in 2020.

I imagine trump will have a new slogan soon like this if some of those state investigations result in indictments and are put on hold until he's out of office. VOTE FOR ME IN 2020 IF YOU DON'T, I'M GOING TO JAIL

Curious. why are you questioning this thread? Busymom's thread did not state she was watching or referencing the Mueller Congresssional grilling. Actually, I have been watching off & on this morning. But, I've had a full morning, and haven't been able to watch it all. But, I've watched enough to know Trump is going to have some real trouble coming his way, if not now, once he's out of office. As in, if you're a Trump Supporter, or Trump himself, you better buckle up buttercup, bad things might happen ? ('Maybe it going to happen', scene retake number #6,824) billisonboard says it the best ymam.proboards.com/post/3022617Even without the party divide, this really backfired for Democrats.

He also said it was enough to charge someone with obstruction, but he could not because he was following DOJ policy.

We knew no collusion was proven involving Trump, but we all lived in real time through his many attempts of obstruction. Kind of funny that Trump could have been OK by just leaving everything alone and not commenting. However, really we all know now, that's the easiest way to catch the guy. He seems incapable of keeping quiet and staying out of things he should leave alone.

Maybe time for you to retire the broken record. I've known for quite awhile, as many have, no impeachment was coming. In large part because the GOP won't go against Trump in any real way no matter what he's done or what could be proved. Not humbled nor surprised.

Did you read the entire report? If you were asked about a paragraph on something written on page 367, would you remember what exactly the report states and able to readily answer? The answer is no. I watched most of the first part in the morning. Mueller did not want to be there and I think that was obvious. In addition, I doubt any big report like this is written by one person. Even if I wrote something that long, I'd be hard pressed to remember it all, and I'd probably do the short answers as well.

Satire Republicans Defend Trump’s Decision to Give Putin Office Space at White HouseBy Andy Borowitz WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In a sign that Donald J. Trump’s control over the Republican Party is now complete, congressional Republicans on Thursday defended his decision to give the Russian President Vladimir Putin office space at the White House. A newly emboldened Trump told reporters that he had furnished Putin with a corner-office suite and secretarial staff to use whenever the Russian President is in town. “He says he plans to be here more and more,” Trump said. Putin, who moved file boxes into his new office on Thursday afternoon, said he looks forward to many productive hours at the White House with few, if any, interruptions. “At the Kremlin, people are always sticking their heads in my office, asking me questions,” he said. “President Trump just spends all day watching TV.” Complete article here: Republicans Defend Trump’s Decision to Give Putin Office Space at White House

OK, out of those in the running now, who has a chance to beat Trump? three candidates. but early polling of this kind is NOTORIOUSLY inaccurate. I will presume that you don't need me to explain why.
