A 43" tv for $209 sounds pretty good to me, but I'm going to be responsible and hold off. The only other thing I'm seeing is a martial arts body pad we could use for training at home that's 20% off $40. Not the end of the world if we don't buy today.

I'm boycotting this year, in solidarity with amazon workers.

I'm likely going to take advantage of some sales from other online retailers, as they compete with Amazon for "Black Friday in July" today.

Well, at 3 am I bought hanging file folders for something like $8.88. I bought a phone case for $11.19, but I cancelled it and re-bought it b/c it was at 9.99? I bought 12 rolls of Cottonelle TP for $6.02. I tried to buy Norton Anti virus for 5 devices for $24.99 but it looks like it is hung up? They said it will take 4 hours to be cleared from the bank.
I see K-9 Advantrix for Dogs 6 doses for 43.44. Is that a good deal? Last time I bought at Walmart, I thought it was less, but I maybe only got 3 doses.

I'm boycotting this year, in solidarity with amazon workers. Yeah, I forgot to mention it to my DH. They are building a 4 story warehouse in my city. They are expecting they will hire close to 1,000 workers. I have always questioned the # of workers, and the stories of the building look pretty compact. Now the outside is nearly done, and there are no windows. no natural light. I can't imagine the fire escapes - Idk. It looks like it is going to be powered by robotics. They are adding all kinds of freeway access. Maybe they are spending $$ on infrastructure for no reason.
The Mayor and city council do not seem to care what the residents think. There is speculation that they are being bribed. I figure if it is true, someone will be checking into their finances soon.

Nothing. I only bought from Amazon once, and was horrified at the amount of packaging.

My 21yo works graveyard at an Amazon distribution center. They have treated her well.
I need to look to see if there’s anything I was planning on getting anyway.

I was going to buy a Kindle Paperwhite, but the reviews complain of a battery problem. I hate battery life problems.

I was going to buy a Kindle Paperwhite, but the reviews complain of a battery problem. I hate battery life problems. Idk, I have two kindles again. I found the one I thought I threw in the garbage under my bed on DH's side. Who Hoo! I was considering re-purchasing it. It is a voyager. I like the clam shell Oragami Case for reading at the table.
I also have the original Oasis. It is smaller than the newer one. I ordered it last year to see if I liked it better, but it was larger and heavier than the one I have. I bought this one for reading in bed, but it is the one I always slip in my purse for the same reason. Anyways the Oasis is supposed to have a charging cover with extra battery life, but it was controversial b/c they said it did not connect right, and it did not give you the stated battery life. If it runs out of juice, I recharge it. no big deal. I charge my phone every night too. If I need to, I have the Kindle ap on my phone and can read on my phone if nothing else works.
I would take a chance on it. $84.99. Looks like a good deal. Some people like to wine.

My son has a Paperwhite and I think the battery lasts a long time...like at least a couple weeks. I'm not sure why anyone would really need more than that as it's not a big deal to just plug it in overnight occasionally. I have the old keyboard kindle. It must be 12 years old at least and still works great.

I grabbed a couple kindle kids fires and a new waterpik. Watching a couple toys but I doubt the sales will be worth it.

I have some LED lightbulbs in my cart but haven’t bought them yet. I don’t really need anything else but will look to see if there’s anything I see that I should get. I do need a pillow insert so I’ll take a look at those.

We decided this weekend that we should get a new phone for my husband. We went on a trip and his phone was not doing the things that we needed it to do over wifi (access Uber and email confirmations). I didn't realize that it was Prime Day today and I don't know if we will be able to settle on a new phone model before the sale is over.

I bought a water bottle last night that was an early prime day deal. Nothing else so far. I have a few things we need for the house but I didn't see them earlier when I searched.

I got DS a basketball for $10, headphones for $16, and dry erase markers for school supplies. Such sexy purchases. As an aside, I'm shocked at how many people buy DVDs of shows. I mean, GoT was good..but at best, I've watched most of the series twice. For a fraction of the Prime cost of season 1-3 on DVD...

I bought the GOT DVD's! They're cheap on Ebay. I got seasons 1-5 as a boxed set for $55 and paid $15 for 6. It was kind of a wash for me than paying $15/month for HBO for one show. I did fork over $25 for season 7 though. I'll wait a year or so to get season 8 when it's down to $15, mainly to complete the set.

So far, I've looked but not purchased. I hope I have willpower to only buy what I need and not what I want.

I was hoping "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" would go on sale for Prime day. I bought season 1 when it was on sale, but the other seasons haven't gone on sale since March (when I was short on fun money). I don't watch many things multiple times, but can always do an episode of Buffy. Otherwise we own some seasons of Breaking Bad, but that was to watch the 1st time watch, not a rewatch.

I bought a pair of blue light shield computer reading glasses. Eases eye strain especially in the evening.
I also bought a backup battery for my weed wacker.

I'm not buying anything. I have porch pirate issues (and yes a camera would allow me to WATCH the thieves steal my packages and I know it's so helpful in apprehending the thieves. NOT. ) I try to limit how much stuff I have delivered to the office. S

I bought a compact Echo Show for my bedroom. I have one of the large ones on the main floor and have enjoyed the sound quality it provides for music and my chats with Alexa. I'm not sure how much I will use one in the bedroom, but for $49 (reduced from $89 for Prime Day), I'll take a chance. I got some smart bulbs and smart outlet plugs at Costco, which I can apparently control via Alexa, but I need to figure out how to do that, so I don't know how I'm going to like that yet.
I think that's going to be it for Prime Day. I kept finding interesting or tasty things (including some special treats for my dog buddy) at Costco today and spent $500, so maybe I should stop shopping.

Glad I saw this post today! I reactivated Prime and ordered my son a cordless drill/driver that was on special. I wanted one for his BD at the end of the month and got a great deal.

Just bought an Echo dot, for the kitchen, and an Amazon GC for a $5 credit when amount is $25 or more. Maybe done, but I'm going to look at Costco for Franklin the Dog treats.
