So here is the Fox headline: Exclusive: Trump shares plans to combat homelessness and mental illness in interview with Tucker CarlsonHere is his plan: "It's disgraceful. I'm going to maybe and I'm looking at it very seriously," Trump said. "We're doing some other things that you probably noticed like some of the very important things that we're doing now. But we're looking at it very seriously because you can't do that. ... "They can't be looking at scenes like you see in Los Angeles and San Francisco. San Francisco... so we're looking at it very seriously. We may intercede. We may do something to get that whole thing cleaned up. It's inappropriate." ... "We're really not very equipped as a government to be doing that kind of work," he told Carlson. "That's not really the kind of work that the government probably should be doing. We've never had this in our lives before in our country. And it's not only those few cities, it's a couple of other ones."

Maybe that's his plan. When he adds statements like this: "And it's not only those few cities, it's a couple of other ones." It makes me cringe. I'm not sure if he's just ignorant OR if he's being a wise ass condescending jerk.

so fix it, DJT.

What exactly was Trump saying in that interview? What useful information did he convey to his supporters? What useful information did he convey to everyone else?
What was the purpose of the interview?

as to the message, it is contradictory. he says he is going to do something about it, but that the government isn't. which would mean that I guess the Trump organization is going to offer free rooms up, or something?

What was the purpose of the interview? I noticed that he picked out cities that were left leaning - LA, NY, San Francisco - as the 'bad' cities run by 'liberals.' Sanctuary cities.
I think he's just attempting to further his propaganda about anything run the lefties is horrible, unsanitary and a disgrace, while all the best cities (the ones where his Trumpettes live) are fabulous, and it's because of the righties and Trump himself that they're so awesome.
We're no longer living in real life. We're in a Trumpian fantasy world. At least until Nov 2020.

Let's take some guesses at what his plan might be. I have two:
1) He will just have them all killed. Problem solved .
2) He will put them into camps and treat them like sub-humans until they have the courtesy to die.
The best plan would be a comprehensive mental health program, but that is too liberal for the GOP.
