I remember it, but who really cares what fox news reports on. As an aside, you might want to look up the number of viewers fox news usually gets, vs the number of people that vote GOP. Then reflect on the intelligence of posting the stereotypical premise. (bolded)

(bolded) My premise is based on the number of current GOP members who are wildly applauding Trump's fabulous meeting with Kim, many of whom are the same GOP congressional people who negatively went off on Obama for suggesting he might meet Kim.
I was amused at the hypocrisy of the GOP. Very amusing. I do love to laugh at them.

To bad he didn't get to enter a gulag and they shut the door on him. I would have laughed, and laughed, and laughed.

Your premise as cut and pasted from your post. Yeah, none of the current GOPers remember that, either.
In regards to. Remember how Fox news had a melt down when Obama suggested being open to meeting Kim?
I wasn't referring to your ever changing byline. (bolded) I was just saying that I remember, and care little for what cable news has to say. Personally, I think you will quote anyone, to posture the usual stereotype/meme. (the rest of your post, underlined) Humorous that you mention hypocrisy in your post, and laughing.

Yes, the laughing is fun. In a shallow kind of way. Think it covers up the poor attempt at deflection ? Showing the nonsense, in an easy to read format, is how it's done, to show the bs when it presents.

I was looking for something else and found something I thought I would share. There is this thread's start: It's absolutely f***ing amazing how this president orchestrates things. ... And then this: How long is the Prelude for this orchestra piece going to last?

“The president’s mission hasn’t changed: to fully and finally denuclearize North Korea in a way that we can verify. That’s the mission set for these negotiations.” - Mike Pompeo
What's your point?

How good is the "orchestration" if we are hanging on "the verge" for that length of time? My point? Your postings illustrate the failings of President Trump.

First progress in dealing with DPRK in 70 years (unless you count Clinton's "very good deal for the American people" prelude to Obama's failed Iran deal), and you're complaining that it's a failure after 14 months (of no nuclear tests and no ballistic missile tests)? Unwind yourself a few turns. Might take a minute to fix 70 decades of failure by both parties.

North Korea has nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles which work. What do they need to "test"? In April 2018, you indicated we were "on the verge of an official solution". In July 2019, you post "the mission hadn't changed". So, what progress?

One intractable problem is on the verge of an official solution thanks entirely to President Trump. ... Irate Over Military Exercises, North Korea Threatens To Resume Nuclear, Missile TestsImpressive Mr. President, entirely you. But honestly, it isn't you. It is what North Korea has done to a lot of former presidents. The difference is you have three times met personally with the head of North Korea, including going to North Korea, with zero positive effect.

Well, there was one positive effect - Trump and Kim got to experience true love, with all the fantastic love letters that winged their way across the ocean to each other, as they batted their eyelashes and spoke loving words to each other across the great distance that separated their two tender hearts.
Hopefully, one day, someone will collect them altogether and write a beautiful Barbara Cartland romance out of them. So, we have that, anyway.

North Korea Launches Two ‘Projectiles,’ South Korea SaysSEOUL, South Korea — North Korea fired two projectiles off its east coast on Thursday amid stalled efforts to resume talks on ending the country’s nuclear weapons program, the South Korean military said. The projectiles were launched from Wonsan, a coastal town east of Pyongyang, the capital, and flew 430 kilometers, or 267 miles, before landing in waters between North Korea and Japan, the military said in a statement. It gave no additional details, except to say that South Korean and American military officials were analyzing the flight and other data to determine what type of projectiles were fired. The launchings were the first such test since President Trump and the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, met on June 30 in South Korea near the Demilitarized Zone.
