pulls fire arm....is let go by the employer...but still? Am guessing to be armed while at work is a no, no and to brandish such weapon unless faced with bodily harm and even then.... Am sure NRA is on side of the one with weapon, but then , would be me too..if other party also carried too...and in thinking about it...if with spouse , dog ...was armed...and suddenly all threatened by such a person, bodily harm...In my case...been there before...well trained, there probably would be no hesitation and a tragedy for both sides happens.. ========================= www.cnn.com/2019/05/30/us/kampgrounds-of-america-employee-couple-gun/index.html

Although a gun is out of the question of being proper in any circumstance, why do people think it is ok to tresspass on privately owned property, and did not immediately leave when told to. Most people would go to the office and inquire about renting a cabin or asking to visit the site, before just entering the campground.
I agree the gun is outrageous but why do people just think they can just go on private property without permission? I have been to KOA'S and they are not free for unregistered guests......

No, we don't walk away. But when we're holding on to something precious, we run.

There is confusion as to whether or not they were on the public land or not. Also by the campground office as to whether or not they needed permission. The article I read said the couple went to the office and the person there was confused as to why they'd need permission to have a picnic lunch. And the lady with the gun came back to the office and started screaming at them again.

If it is privately owned property, it is not owned by KOA or a KOA franchise. A black couple were having a picnic. Then a white campground manager pulled out her gun.

According to the article...another employee...actually husband of the woman who pulled the weapon, said no permission was needed to have a picnic, visit... Some confusion here....the weapon definitely 100 % out of line...if dangerous situation....one calls police.
