Pfft. We all know dads are babysitters. Can't expect babysitters to stay up too late, can we? That's why women can't stay out late at night.
Seriously, though. I live in just about as liberal of a place as one can get, save for maybe San Fran. DH being a SAHD was "noble,"such a wonderful opportunity", and "wonderful."
I'd really like to know how many women are told the same thing when they re-enter the workforce after being SAHMs. |

What idiots. I hope I don't get dinged for this. But I still want to know the real reason why Ryan left office. Based on my limited experience with teenagers and tweens...they don't exactly want to spend all their free time with dear dad. |

Really? Only men are capable of hard work and, OMG, LATE MEETINGS? This is so idiotic that it is almost ridiculous to get upset about. However, it is also the reason I get so p*ssed when I hear young women say things like "feminism is a thing of the past. We don't need to worry anymore, everything is just fine/great/fill-in-the-blank now"
Nothing that has been achieved in the last century cannot be undone by the wave of know-nothing-want-everything so-called conservatives. And they are doing it at a pretty fast clip. |

We figure they got something on ryan and he didn't want it out so stepped down. Something sure happened and it wasn't to help with the kids.
