sets new milestone. $2 million in 27 games. How disappointing for his other opponents. They finally get through the vetting to be on Jeopardy then go up against a pro like that.

I finally actually knew a contestant in real life, but she drew bad luck and was one of his opponents, though she did very well.
I hated that for her!!

Is there an option to reappear when the opponent is stacked against the others? There are teen tournaments, college tournaments, teachers' tournaments, and other specialized tournaments on Jeopardy. Why not have a 'Contestants-Who-Came-In-Second-Place-While-Playing-Against-James Holzhauer' tournament.

I love jeopardy but after 1st week I stopped watching. I like a little competition. But I did the same thing when the Ken dude (think that was his name) stayed so long. I just check online to see if this guy won. But can't find fault with them. I just bore really easy. oh and I tune in America Says for fun a n comic relief for game shows now. I'll get back to jeopardy one day. Eta I did watch the teachers episodes when it was on.

I don't find it interesting and I don't like his attitude.

Jeopardy James posted on Twitter that he lost. I can watch Jeopardy today knowing this is over and tomorrow and the next day.

Quiz Show was a good movie. I had to watch it for a film course in college and I’ve watched it a few times since then.

I think it had to do with the 3rd place contestant. He wanted to make sure he would have more than the 3rd place contestant if both he and the first place contestant both missed final Jeopardy.

ETA: Now that he has lost I've reset the "reminder" for Jeopardy so I'll get back to watching it. Turned it off after week two since I sorta saw the handwriting on the wall for long time contestant! And as I said I bore easily so quit watching.

I watched yesterday because I wanted to see him get beat. The final jeopardy bet was interesting to say the least. The winner figured he would go big, even though she was ahead and got herself a nice payday.

I should be ashamed of how much I depend on "reminder" feature. If I could only get it to change channel at same time Had that on one cable/dish service some time ago. Geeze laziness of the highest order in my old age.

We watched and were surprised. There was one double jeopardy that she could have bet $20,000 and James would not have caught up to her. She won in the end with a fast clicky finger and knowing the answers.
They showed a photo of the man who won a huge prize belt from Jeopardy for being the biggest winner. I didn't find his name on a quick search. Ken Jennings still reigns with James Holzhauer 2nd. Way back, Team Rutter won $1,000,000.
