I've been in contact with him right up to the end via pm, in regards to sending money through him to Rosemarie. His last few posts summed up pretty well, why he doesn't post. He has the link to the forum where I spend most my time. I miss his wit/humor/view on things, even if we always didn't agree. If I don't hear from him online anymore, I can always send him a letter via snail mail. Wit and humor?? I don't recall any of his great zingers. Maybe you can link them? I was more reminiscing his funny stories that he would apply to people/situations in a hilarious way. It more right after the formation of this board and going back onto msn. His last one here, was the one about a school bus full of puppies driving off a cliff. About three years ago. Everyone took it the wrong way, but I didn't and told him it was quite funny. He didn't do anymore after that, sad for me. I feel it's a damn shame that he seems to have moved on. I feel like I lost an old friend.

I must have missed them all together. To me, he was more of an old coot yelling "Get off my lawn." Imagine my surprise when I found out he was 15 years younger than me.

Personally, I am not convinced you have much of a clue on the economy. So back to the bonds. What did bond buyers do so far in 2019? What are the predictions for 2020? And I'm not here to convince you of anything. People who offer help for free, usually don't have much to offer. Easy enough for you to watch the bond rates youself. You can come to your own conclusions on buy/sell. Or if fiat money values should concern you. At the moment I am more wholistic when it comes to the economy versus watching specific things. I am a Sci Fi fiction fan and have read various scenarios on how to crash currencies, etc. And finally, I did not post an article saying one thing and then not post anything useful to back it up. I have lots to do, so I won't do any bond research today.

He has a unique view of the world that does seem older than his age. I still find it amusing he tried to tell me I was a liar, simply because he didn't know any women who knew UNIX.

His gift perception, was his own.

What really saddens me, is all the posters who are no longer here, that understood how the economy works. In Houston, Neohguy, Frank the Impaler, many more... I see Virgil isn't posting anymore, about a month now ? The role call is long. I don't know whether this has anything to do with Virgil not posting anymore, but a while back there was a thread that had something to do with kids. Virgil's position was shall we say controversial and one of the posters said "you don't even have kids" a few times. At which point Virgil said something like that he hoped that would change in about 4 months.
The timing might be off but it is possible that he is focused on something very different and quite new to him right now.

I was aware, thanks.
