Put it off until tomorrow to see if it goes away. Drinking also helps

I ask someone for their opinion on the issue.

Not as many of those problems as we used to have. My biggest one is what is going to happen to DD. That is the only one we are still wrestling with.

When it happened to me today, I drank until I was tired of thinking, then I took a 5 hr nap.
When I woke up, things still sucked. But at least I got some sleep.
~not typical behavior for me. Ugh.

If I have time to think about it, I can come up with some options. In some cases I have been stunned so I don't move. In some cases I will stand, which is what the Holy Bible says to do. Stand can be viewed in a lot of different ways. I read one article that said if money can solve it, then it is a solvable problem. Of course, there need to be funds available.

What do you do when you do not know what to do? IF it's dealing with just general "life happens" kind of stuff (or if it's boredom) THEN Brainstorm ideas/solutions - no matter how silly or undoable - the goal is to create some laughter. Sometimes laughter is the best medicine or maybe think of Monty Python's advice to "Stay on the sunny side of life" .
IF it's dealing with the kind of life things that can't be "fixed" (ie how to offer comfort to a loved one in a time of need) and you just don't know what to say or do THEN Sometimes just a simple "I'm here" does the trick if you can't find the words (or feel like everything to say is a cold cliche) Honesty is the best medicine in most cases of "this can't be fixed or when there is no "solution to the problem" other than to move forward. . IF it's something else THEN Remember that all things must pass and move forward

Mention the issue to a trusted friend. I had mistakenly bought a golf coupon book that didn't have the senior discount. My friend said to ask if I could exchange it. One of those feeling so helpless moments. In the past, the answer would have been no. I did get a refund on the coupon book. I continued to mull this question over. I was looking through some paperwork and found an index card with scripture on it. Ex 14:14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.
I go to the indoor gym to play pickleball. The gym has an overhead walking track. On the track were a couple of women who did some bad turns to me over a long period of time. I was very uncomfortable, slightly angry, but managed to focus myself. I reminded myself not to be concerned about someone else's cesspool. I didn't say anything to H. There is history there, also. I saw his face drop when he saw who they were. I kept quiet.
I told my playing friends to be careful who they open their door to since it's summer. I'm sure they were confused.
Then I refind the index card when I get home. What I really wanted were some superpowers like lightening bolts, toxic glare, or Dark Pheonix skills to overcome them.

Two different friends. Two different home projects. One had a deck cleaned. They did a crummy job. She got another person and they made it worse. She cannot find anyone to help. She reported the contractors to the Attorney General complaints. She won't tell me where it's at. 3 years now. The other friend had a beautiful shower remodel. It looked so great. Leaks around the tile nearly ruined that room and the on below it. She did complain to AG. The last I checked she won't talk about it either. Case 1 said she was a rich beotch. Just tear it down and rebuild. Case 2 has ample resources. Try to redo? Contractors won't clean up someone else's mess.

I usually follow my gut...almost always works out for me (I have funny luck like that). I pretty much fly by the seat of my pants! And ask myself "what's the worse that can happen?" I usually screw up when I over think something. By same token I only have myself to blame for screw ups
