Mine is weather related as well. I had planned on vacuuming the car after work, but it's kind of chilly out so I guess it'll wait until tomorrow. That's how I feel about vacuuming and dusting in the house. If it isn't exactly 71.4 degrees outside for an extended period, I won't vacuum the house.

Your construction will be done when the kitten is ready to go its forever home, i.e., your house. take the kitten!!! They aren't as babyish as puppies!!! You don't have to take them outside every 2 hours.

My liberal crisis is what should I get DH for his birthday? I decided on a seafood restaurant for dinner. I think I will skip the gift.
I could not remember if he gave me a gift - if he did it was probably flowers.
I had been jonesing for some fried whole clams since 2006. Liberal crisis. Last week I was up in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Went out to lunch last Monday with family and had fried whole clams. Delicious. We did not go to the restaurant I wanted to check out last night b/c it was late, and it was a drive. We will go on a weekend soon. We went to the local upscale Italian restaurant and both ordered sea food. I had Salman with Pico de Gallo on it and Rosemary potatoes. It was so good, we will go back. We get pizza and mostaccioli there on their takeout menu a lot, but it is not DH's favorite eat in restaurant.
This is the menu for the one I wanted to go to: menus.mitchellsfishmarket.com/MIMW_dinn.pdf

Looks good. I would eat most of what is on the menu. I am more a shellfish eater than a fish eater. But if I have a choice of fish and chips or steak, I will go for the fish and chips.

My crisis is that I'm hungry now, and not for the raw veggies I brought for lunch.
Shrimp and grits would be nice, with a creamy parmesan cheese sauce with andouille sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes, St Simon Island style.
Only about 4000 calories, but totally worth it.

100 or more employees. Now I remember. I've been retired for a while, thanks. 50 or more in this case (and this sure as h*ll qualifies):
"The WARN Act Requires Employers to Give 60 Days Notice The WARN Act requires that the employer provide 60 days written notice of the intention to lay off more than 50 employees during any 30-day period as part of a plant closing. The notice must be provided to employees, the State dislocated worker unit and the chief elected official of the unit of local government in which the employment site is located, and any collective bargaining unit."
www.thebalancecareers.com/warn-act-layoff-requirements-1918297
I got it from this dol.gov site. It also covers what oped was saying, regarding circumstance, etc. Quote; The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) protects workers, their families, and communities by requiring employers with 100 or more employees (generally not counting those who have worked less than six months in the last 12 months and those who work an average of less than 20 hours a week) to provide at least 60 calendar days advance written notice of a plant closing and mass layoff affecting 50 or more employees at a single site of employment. WARN makes certain exceptions to the requirements when layoffs occur due to unforeseeable business circumstances, faltering companies, and natural disasters. Advance notice gives workers and their families some transition time to adjust to the prospective loss of employment, to seek and obtain other jobs, and if necessary, to enter skill training or retraining that will allow these workers to compete successfully in the job market. Regular federal, state, local, and federally-recognized Indian Tribal government entities that provide public services are not covered.www.dol.gov/general/topic/termination/plantclosings

Ok. Apparently the are claiming waiver from WARN under: Faltering company. This exception, to be narrowly construed, covers situations where a company has sought new capital or business to stay open and where giving notice would ruin the opportunity to get the new capital or business, and applies only to plant closings. Unforeseeable business circumstances. This exception applies to closings and layoffs that are caused by business circumstances that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time notice would otherwise have been required. Does anyone know if they got the waiver ?

We ate at Bar Louie on Friday Night. It was good-we went with the kids and their SO’s. We went to Brookfield so DD did not have such a long drive home.

We've eaten at Cooper's Hawk Winery several times. I like it. We even did a family thing there with DH's family. I think it was my MIL's bday.
