I heard on the new today that the Iraqis are not buying the intel about Iran (can you believe that ), since it's coming from Israel. They also don't want to do anything with this.

Other countries maintain that there is no increased threat from Iran. Seems like the USA just wants a war. War is profitable. Allies Brush Off U.S. Warnings About Iran As Legislators Spar Over Threat Intel Close allies appear to be very skeptical of U.S. intel on pending Iranian aggression while public evidence remains totally elusive. The U.S. State Department has told all non-essential personnel to leave Iraq based on still largely unspecified intelligence showing that Iran and its proxies could be preparing to attack American interests in the country and elsewhere across The Middle East. This comes as more evidence has emerged that the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as other European allies, are in disagreement about the exact extent and nature of these threats. There are also growing calls from members of Congress for greater clarity about the Administration's claims. www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/28022/allies-brush-off-u-s-warnings-about-iran-as-legislators-say-theyre-in-dark-on-threat-intel

Don't know if this is true, but I would like to believe it- I read a report yesterday that trump is upset that things have moved this fast and is trying to put the reins on John Bolton. Try? How about fire his crazy butt? I heard the same thing. Trump ran on a platform of not getting us into foreign wars, so he should be upset. He should try to control or fire Bolton, but if you don't have any kind of formal foreign policy towards Iraq, that might be hard. I heard someone say today if you don't have a plan, all paths look like the right one.

Just goes to show that "damn non-american" (show me your long form birth certificate, not not that one, the other one...) Obama never finished anything and now the man on the golden throne has to do the unfinished/unstarted work for him

Hmmmm....Trump foolishly pulls us out of the Iran deal, tightens sanctions, and does a bit of saber rattling and oil goes from $30 to $80 a barrel. Gas for farmers and Trumplanders goes up. Rich people get richer. How about that.

The Trump administration has already built its case for Iran warPresident Donald Trump may not need Congress to go to war with Iran.
That's the case his lieutenants have been quietly building as tensions between the two nations have escalated. If it comes down to it, I think the Trump Administration should go to Congress and present a case for going to war. Allow the representatives of the American people to do their Constitutional duty to declare war or not.

the case for doing it is right there in the constitution, but it seems like we have long forgotten it.

Is this another one of those things like the trade war where we're supposed to suck it up for Uncle Sam and be happy we have to pay more for the staples of life because FREEDOM?

Just think...if we had to murdered Iran’s leader in the 50’s they could have been our trading partner for the last 60+ years. We would have been able to skip all that Repo-Con Iran-Contra treason. I agree with you! But Our CIA is such a wonderful thing!!!
....explain please......as a government agency, I would suggest it does what it does at direction of who ever is in the oval office...so for the most part...successes and failures should be laid at the feet of who ever is in that chair at the time of...just saying.

uh, he was already elected. what a dumbass. Maybe re-elected is the more accurate term, but Obama did need to get elected twice to serve 8 years. I'm all for calling Trump a dumbass, but this one isn't a great example of his stupidity.

I pity anyone whose "best self" is internet troll. I wonder, when does one decide that is the limit of what they are capable of being? "I pity anyone whose "best self" is internet troll." That it's still allowed here is what surprises me.....just saying and thinking...especially since so apparent...[sigh...oh well.. ]
