apparently there is a new addition to the British royal family today, for those that follow the family. linkLONDON — The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, whose marriage last year brought historic change to Britain’s royal family, on Monday welcomed a son, the first interracial baby in the monarchy’s recent history. The newborn is seventh in line to the British throne, behind his father, Prince Harry. It is not clear whether the child will receive a royal title, like those bestowed on the three children of Prince William, Harry’s older brother, and William’s wife, Catherine. ********************************************************************************* more at the link.

else is probably the possible feud between Harry and William. Or William cheating on Kate. I don't do much royal watching but I'll take royal baby watching over the other 2!

I wish their family well. Between having an American mother, and being biracial, I worry the "upper crust" in England won't treat that baby as well as they might one of William and Kate's. But of course, we would welcome their family here in the good old USA.

But of course, we would welcome their family here in the good old USA. They wouldn't anyway, even if pure-bred documented white and royal. George will be King one day. He will always get special treatment. The two siblings of George live with two future Kings, and have a chance at becoming the monarch. I don't think Beatrice and Eugenie (nor all the others I can't even name) get treated as well as Harry.

The baby isn't in direct line to the throne.... so will be able to have a more normal life. (not a bad thing really) Harry is the favourite Royal .... so his child is always going to be special. The "upper crust" won't care about his ethnicity.

Well technically 7th in line to throne, so highly unlikely to ever be king. Also would move down in succession when prince William’s kids begin to have kids. And with American mother is also US citizen, so could also grow up to be US President. First person eligible for both.

Now may we never hear any of their names again until the kid is at least 21 years old.

We fought a war to get away from these people. Lol. They no longer control us. They are amusements. Like animals in a zoo, or clowns at a birthday party.

Danny Baker fired by BBC over royal baby chimp tweet Broadcaster Danny Baker has been fired by the BBC over his "stupid unthinking gag" on Twitter about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's new baby. Image Copyright @prodnose @prodnose Report
The now deleted tweet, which has been circulated on social media, showed an image of a couple holding hands with a chimpanzee dressed in clothes with the caption: "Royal Baby leaves hospital".
The 5 Live presenter was accused of mocking the duchess's racial heritage

That was a pretty stupid thing to do. BBC needs people who are more intelligent than that.

He's apparently claiming it was a reference to the media circus and not racism.
Yeah, I'm not buying it either.

If it smells like bullshit, and you just saw the bull taking a shit, it probably is bullshit.

We have close friends in the UK whose dog is named Archie (the dog is at least 12 years old). They are having a field day with this. (Their) Archie photos all over both their FB accounts lol.
