The current champion, James Holzhauer, is something else. No champ ever like him. I do find his personality a bit annoying, but he knows how to play the game and the betting on Daily Doubles. Jeopardy! Contestant Shatters His Own Record with $131,127 Single-Day WinJust over a week after being crowned the champion for taking home the most single-day winnings in the show’s history, Jeopardy contestant James Holzhauer has once again set a new record. Holzhauer took home a total of $131,127 on Wednesday’s episode. His previous record of $110,914 in a single game was set just eight days ago on April 9, 2019. The victory marks Holzhauer’s 10th straight win. He has now won $697,787 in total. Holzhauer, a 34-year-old professional sports gambler from Las Vegas, shattered the previous record of $77,000 made by Roger Craig on Sept. 19, 2010. Complete article here: Jeopardy! Contestant Shatters His Own Record with $131,127 Single-Day Win

Yes, every night! This guy is scary good. He has a broad spectrum of knowledge of most subjects. He is lightning fast with his buzzer. And he has a ruthless strategy of claiming all the high dollar clues first. Between being quick on the buzzer and correct most of the time he also gets almost all of the DD's, and bets on them like, well, a sports gambler. Add it all up he is almost unstoppable. I saw only one moment where he was vulnerable in the run, and that was when he went to zero after a rare miss on a daily double. But he had most of the double jeopardy clues ahead of him, and still went on to clean house. Yikes. This guy is averaging $69k a day.

I'm a big fan of Jeopardy and watch almost every day. But have to admit that I get bored after a while when someone like this guy and the Ken guy keep on winning. Kinda flip over now to see if he lost. The question that tripped up ken dude blew my mind! Even I knew it. Made me wonder if he was just tired of playing? OK that's probably a stretch

I do feel bad for anyone going up against him. He is clearly very intelligent and willing to take risks.

I saw his first episode but don't generally remember to watch so haven't seen him since. I didn't like him much then, just rubbed me the wrong way.

I keep tuning in to see if he's going to lose. I'm not rooting against him, necessarily, but I do like to see the wins spread around more. He is entertaining to watch though.
