Anyone try this yet? Did we already cover this in a thread?
Son got sick lack night. Poor man child away at school... when i called he had almost nothing in his apartment to eat and when I was looking up how long it would take to send him snacks on Amazon realized they have Fresh in his city, and it was free trial, so I did that... I need to go back over what i ordered, i might have overspent, but man the convenience...

Never tried amazon fresh but most groceries stores nowadays in most if not all major cities offer delivery service for groceries.
So you can order from a grocery store and have it delivered to your son (fresh produce, meats, etc).

DS1 has it. Loves it. He's busy and getting groceries in a major city is a hassle, even on the bus. He says he saves money by not having to go into a store.

Never used fresh but I've used prime now. And I used to live close enough to DC to get same day prime.

I don't live in a big city but most if not all of the grocery stores here have delivery and/or curb side pickup. Some within hour of placing order. Can see where it would come in handy for some folks.

They were at his building within an hour. Cost me 3.99 and a tip for the guy. But to do that big of a shop he would have had to take an uber to Trader Joes so... Again, Its a free trial. I think membership is like 15$ a month. But I also wanted it fast, could have done a two hour window a few hours later for no extra fee. I don't know. We'll use it for the trial and see if it is worth it.
Also found that there is a nearby, to him, same day drop center from Amazon.
