President Donald Trump encourages France to use “flying water tankers” to put out a raging fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris as firefighters rushed to save one of the country’s most visited landmarks. link Why on Earth do you think you have the expertise to advise on this situation? Ever heard of " Better to keep your mouth shut ..." And he added "... Must act quickly!” No fucking shit Sherlock!

Or how it must be Quasimodo's fault so he needs to be jailed post haste. It's all hilarious and yet not at the same time.

Glad I was able to walk up the steps to the top and mingle with the gargoyles during a few visits. Looks like the fire may have done a number on the church.
Sad day for Paris. Sad day for France. Sad day for the world.

Just more of Trump being smart and knowing more then anyone. We can add firefighter to his long list. The way he speaks and his choice of words makes him sound like a high school student. I want to see his record from Wharton. His father pulled strings to get him in.

“I hope that’s the reason. Renovation, what’s that all about? But it’s a terrible sight to behold,” Trump said.

next we will see a tweet about how the French should have swept the rafters of the cathedral on a regular basis... 'Poorly built, stairs were too steep and narrow, I could do it cheaper and better. '
(It's what he said when touring Mt Vernon).

Didn't give a shit about the history of the place - the Macrons knew more history about it than the Trumps.
No money to be made in knowing history, and it doesn't make the broads want to bang you being a history geek, I guess.

And for your daily entertainment, you now have just under six years of Trump to give us something to talk about!

I do hope that enough American voters see the degree to which this man is unsuited to be President and he returns to the world of edited "reality television" in 2021 to continue the Trump Show.

Yes I did see a headline about his latest haul. I always hope that people can see past the a glossy ad buy to the product being sold. I am frequently disappointed in this hope. Time will tell. And, FWIW, I note you have nothing to say about the arrogant ignorance displayed by the man once again in regards to firefighting.

At least there was some attempt at genuine concern. I'm sure lots of other people had impractical ideas for dousing the flames.

Because you know, even I know that, and I don't have a clue about most fire fighting techniques. Obviously Mr. trump was not active in the engineering end of building design for his projects. I bet he picked out the drapes. trump has a lot of adulterous experience ensuring the carpeting matched the drapes.

No, he was telling professionals with expertise how they should do their job while adding the comment that they "must act quickly" as if they were too fucking stupid to figure that out on their own. And, yes, I an sure there were lots of other people sitting on bar stools around the country, drinking a beer, and yelling instructions at the television in the corner. However in all the messages sent out by world leaders, I didn't read one that gave ideas, excellent nor impractical, on fire fighting techniques.

If trump had said nothing,,, you would have disapproved. If Trump had said they were doing a good job,,, you would have disapproved. If Trump had,,,,, you would have disapproved. If Trump,,,, you would have disapproved. If,,, you would have disapproved.

Why couldn't Trump has just done the presidential thing and said something like 'our nation's thoughts and prayers are with you during this terrible national loss?'
You know, like a real president would?
Guarantee no one would have had a problem with that. We'd be delighted if the man did something presidential for once.

Some times it's best to keep your mouth shut...concern or not....especially when you aren't nearly as intelligent as you think you are...and has been proven over & over & over & over!

The problem I had with Trump's suggestion is that it only takes a couple of minutes of thought to realize that it's a genuinely stupid suggestion. What is Trump suggesting? Dumping tons of water on a centuries old structure. In the middle of heavily populated area. With large amounts of firefighters in close proximity. Gee... whatever could go wrong? Moreover, the firefighters of Paris are comparable to our firefighters in western states. They are highly trained to fight the fires which are the most challenging in their areas. For our western state firefighters, those are massive forest fires. For the firefighters of Paris, it's fires in ancient buildings. Basically, Trump is the guy on the end bar stool shouting out whatever stupid thought comes to his mind first with no filter.

Has trump come out and loudly and publicly condemned the white nationalist arrested for burning down the black churches in Louisiana? I don't recall if he has said anything.

If Trump,,,, you would have disapproved. If,,, you would have disapproved. Not unfair. However: If trump had said nothing,,, you would have approved. If Trump had said they were doing a good job,,, you would have approved. If Trump had,,,,, you would have approved. If Trump,,,, you would have approved. If,,, you would have approved. Oh yeah. By the way: in this case, what he did actually tweet was INCREDIBLY STUPID.

I thought you hated any that resembled religion. this was Frances loss not our's. Oh, so we aren't obligated to offer condolences anymore, in Trumplandia. It's every man for himself, fuck off and stop whining if your kid dies or your wife dies or your national cathedral burns down. Good to know.
And I'm a Christian. Why would I 'hated any that resembled religion?' What does that even mean?
