Hold up!!! What has he actually done as a president besides tweet lies, piss off our allies, get in bed with our enemies, blame Hillary, tear families apart at the border? Where is the "wall" he promised Mexico was going to build?? Where is the new great "health care"? Yeah he lowered taxes for the wealthy, but the rest of us who work everyday to make ends meet, yeah did me no good. OHHHHHH and his comment that he would never play golf ? That douche plays more golf than those on the PGA tour. And on our dime!!I believe he donates his Presidential salary. which of the up and coming candidates would do that? Which of the other candidates would be able to earn many times the presidential salary through charging the government and SS for renting rooms and golf carts at his golf properties?
His salary is chump change compared to what his company is raking in - especially if you add in the business lobbyists have been throwing to him at his DH hotel, in hopes of sucking up to the administration.
Whoever the next president is, if he refrains from flying to Florida or Bedminster every weekend, the tax payer will be significantly better off than they are with Trump, regardless of the salary.

then this thread is not for you. this is for people that actually DO care about it.
You did offer #6 in the op. the thread title is WHY do you WANT Trump to show his tax returns.
it is not "DO YOU want Trump to show his tax returns"
so, yes, if you have another reason why you WANT Trump to show his returns, that is what #6 is for.
this sort of fundamental stuff is really boring to debate, x.
can you please just accept it and move on?

His salary is $400,000. Chump change you'd find in his seat cushions. Meanwhile, each of his Mar-A-Lago trips cost the taxpayers 3.4 MILLION dollars. That's for each trip, paid by taxpayers.

The White House isn't good enough for him. It's government housing with not enough gold, and a black family just moved out. You have no problem with him spending millions and millions in taxpayer funds going to Mar A Lago, but are impressed that he donates his $400,000 salary? You're been thoroughly bamboozled by this con man. No wonder he loves the poorly educated!

I believe he donates his Presidential salary. which of the up and coming candidates would do that? Presidential salary: $400,000. per year. Trump weekend at Mar-A-Lago: approximately $3.6million cost to taxpayers. One weekend = 9 years salary. How many weekends a year does he golf?

The real questions are how many presidents scoffed at the emoluments clause? How many presidents deliberately used the office to enrich their personal business interests and those of family members? How many presidents dutifully ripped off the American taxpayer with various schemes for personal enrichment instead of placing their assets in the proper blind trusts?
Pershaps anonymous source would like to answer those non rhetorical questions.

If he wants the squirrel to disappear he should. If not, can credibility be questioned?

At least it was two of presidents that I agree with. Most certainly would not have been clinton or obama.

Because Obama was an 'other' the racist right went out of their way to add up the cost of his trips and how many rounds of golf he played. (lazy) Numerous posters here, especially one that currently isn't posting, made a huge deal out of the Obama golf even though Bush played more. Trump is taking it over the top and the jerks still mention Obama golf. Perhaps they harken back to the day when darker skinned Americans were simply caddies and not allowed to play the nicer clubs. Well who one the Masters on Sunday.
When a President and his family vacation it involves at least 2 jet rides and maybe four. The secret service detail has to go along and be accommodated. That each Obama trip to his home state averaged $4.375M is understandable. That some old white dudes still bring it up and try and make something out of it is just pathetic when their god is ripping us off while their lips are attached to his ass.
I guess if you snort too much kool-aid powder the early dementia shows up and warps the mind. Sad.

ROTFLMAO! Trump's golf trips cost twice as much in a mere two years. Are you going to address this inconvenient little fact? I know you'll ignore this and try to throw something else against the wall, hoping it will stick.

Additionally, Obama and his family's trips to Hawaii were to the state where he was born. Obama also lived the majority of his youth living in Hawaii with his mother and grandparents in Hawaii. Maybe trump should vacation in the state and city where he was born: Queens, N.Y.

Trump is NOT unique in any GOOD WAY.
as you point out, however, he is rather unique in more than a few terrible ones.

Trump has spent his whole life protecting himself from exposure through non-disclosure agreements. Personally, I want to see what he's hiding. I know we'll never see his college transcript, but I sure would love to see it. But I would be content to see his tax returns. As a former tax accountant, I would have fun going through them!

I would actually be pretty happy seeing the summary page- the one that shows the net effective rate of tax he paid.
I bet it is damned near 0%.

Maybe you should run for Congress because Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated the other day Congress is too stupid to understand the complexities of trump's tax returns.
