So far, we have the following: Eight Trump rants Three Value Buy criticisms if you are calling mine a rant, I take issue with that.
I was actually cutting him some slack.

I think what’s sadder is the parents who stood by and did nothing to protect their children from being pawed by a dirty old man. My dad would have cold cocked that perv.

OK I googled it and it looks really creepy, especially toward the end where the littler girls are cringing away from him. I am becoming more of a one issue voter over healthcare, so I would hold my nose and vote for him over someone that wants to dismantle healthcare, but I would prefer another option.

You don't want to know about it. I get it. but if you consider yourself an informed voter you need to seek out more information on this than just seeing one clip with an adult and deciding to give him a pass. Well, I don't believe I'm going to vote for Joe, but not because of this. This has been looked at exhaustively before. Along with Biden's infamous gaffes (Remember him saying that Obama "speaks well" ? ) It is not only me that "gives him a pass", he has been found to be innocent when this was looked at before. He has foot in mouth syndrome at times. He is also a glad handing, back slapping, hugging, touching, kind of person. Which I am not. My father and I never even hugged when I was a kid, and when he did hug me at one time years later I was skeeved out by it. So I don't identify with that at all. I don't hug women, and I don't slap or rub the backs of men. I don't touch children at all. (Frigid old WASP Yankee that I am, LOL!) So I don't get it. But I don't condemn him for it. You probably have had very few creepy old relatives groping you when you were a kid growing up, but I bet a good percentage of the women in this country have had grandpa grabbing their knee under the dining room table after he started losing his self restraint, or been forced to kiss and hug an uncle when they didn't want to.

I don't hug women, and I don't slap or rub the backs of men. I don't touch children at all. (Frigid old WASP Yankee that I am, LOL!) So I don't get it. But I don't condemn him for it. what he has done to girls during photo ops is disgusting. There is a video of him kissing the back of the neck of a 3 year old girl in her fathers arms and she squirms away from it it's at about 3:40 on this video This is how girls are taught at a very early age that their bodies don't belong to them. biden keeps kissing the back of her neck as she tries to squirm away from him, and her father does nothing to help her. Because - one assumes - you don't offend the vp of the us. and i have to take you to task for this one: I don't touch children at all. (Frigid old WASP Yankee that I am, LOL!)Most children do not want physical affection from random strangers - it should be that you don't touch children because you are respecting their body autonomy, and only secondarily, if at all, that you're not inclined to seek it out. If you watch this video there are a number of episode where you see parents faces change into concern or dismay - yet they do nothing - it is really depressing to know they want to intervene but don't feel empowered to do so. Men who do this to young girls are taking advantage of them. I can tell you exactly how those girls are feeling. Powerless. and that is exactly what they are. Even their parents feel powerless. And it would a very stupid person who didn't realize how powerless the child and the parents were in this situation, and I don't think biden is stupid. It is really apparent that these girls are uncomfortable and trying to evade his touch as much as possible without 'making a scene' - and he just leans into them touching their hair and shoulders and whispering into their ears. He doesn't care about what they want or what they are feeling - he is going to touch and kiss them. And for all anyone knows - biden puts on the huggy-feely back clapping persona with men just to try to cover up these sicko maneuvers with girls.

I get that. I was joking about the frigid old Yankee thing- it was really aimed more at the whole comment, part of which you did not copy. I've been a kid, and I get that kids don't care to be touched. Hence, I don't do it. However, a lot of people do. Biden says he is open to learning. Well, maybe he will. I hope he is. He's not a stupid guy, I don't get why he doesn't already realize that this type of behavior is not appropriate. If you touch someone and they tense up/squirm away, it is not welcome. Back off. I remember in HS when I was getting unwelcome hugs from an older guy, and when I told him to back off, I was the bitch.

I do not want another old, white guy as POTUS.
I don't know much about Biden. I do know there were some really fun/cute memes that came out after the election about him and Obama. And that he and Obama both took them with good grace.

Correct. I have had ZERO family members ever do that to me. However I have..... Woken up in bed with a family friend laying beside me with his hand fondling my penis. Caught a ride with someone who then groped and wanted to rape me. I think we are finding that incidents of both sexual assault and also attempted sexual assault are almost more the norm than the exception. All the more reason not to 'give him a pass'.

I would bet that most women here have experienced worse than that.

Do you realize he will be 78 years old if he runs in the 2020 election? He is 4 years older than Trump. I think that is too old to run, the Dems need some fresh ideas and someone who can relate to a younger crowd.
I think what he did was a bit creepy, but not that big of a deal. I've had creepy encounters before with men that I know and men that I don't. I had a touchy boss that would put his hand on my back to show support. I asked him to stop and he did. it was not a come on or anything even close to that. He was not a pervert, he was just very awkward socially.

So I don't get it. But I don't condemn him for it. I'm Russian. We're insanely touchy-feely. Everyone is always hugging and kissing each other. Not just once, but three times. Not just men kissing women, but men kissing men, and women kissing women, whether you know them well or not. When you show up at a Russian party, the first half hour is spent kissing everyone there.

Yes, I know. That is why I do not go to Russian parties. I am half WASP Yankee, English lineage, and half Dutch. Neither are known for tremendous outward bursts of emotion or affection. In fact, we are happy if everyone is breathing at our parties. When I play golf and yell "Fore!" I am all a-twitter! My BFF is a WASP with Irish and Scottish heritage. She does not like being touched. I never try to hug her, like I do with all my other friends.

So if you are half Dutch that is 1.5 kiss each time (or two coming in and one when leaving (or v.v.))

Not much of a difference in age and aptitude in 2020 of someone who's 74 (trump) and 78 (Biden).

Biden accuser Lucy Flores says she'd vote for him over Trump: 'That's not even a question'The former Nevada legislator who accused former vice president and potential Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden of inappropriately touching her at a 2014 campaign rally said she'd still support him if he were matched up against President Trump. "That's not even a question," Lucy Flores, a former Nevada state assemblywoman who unsuccessfully ran for lieutenant governor in 2014, told CBS News. "Of course I would support Biden." But Flores added that she believes Biden's actions should disqualify him from seeking the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. The word is 'you're' which is a contraction of 'you are'.
I hope your local school as a basic English class you can take.

I've known so many people over the years who were like Joe Biden - friendly souls who aren't afraid to reach out and touch someone. I never once felt I was being molested. Sorry, but I'm pretty sure almost anyone with a modicum of discernment can tell the difference between friendliness and molestation. Unless, of course, they're looking for something to be offended about.

You didn't like being called 'a good republican' so you are trying to school me on contractions? Maybe your local school has a basic English class you can take to learn how to spell the word 'has'.

I'm failing to see much difference between the GOP holding their collective noses and voting for 45 vs. the Dems holding their collective noses and voting for Biden, should he get that far.
