Nice guy. I wish him well. Hopefully he will keep on working until he cannot.

That's to bad, hate to hear anyone contracting that disease. Wish the man well. I don't watch the show, but he has been there a long time.

I LOVE the show, and usually get most of questions, except for current singers/shows and sports. I get NONE of the sports questions. Pancreatic cancer is a bitch. I wish him all the best.

I have watched the show since it premiered in 1964. I like trivia.

Nice guy. I wish him well. Hopefully he will keep on working until he cannot. In the video he made announcing his diagnosis, he jokingly said that he is required to get better because he has 3 years left on his contract. It's a battle. I've not known of anyone who has beaten it. Saying on news 6% of people go in to remission.

A tough form of cancer to beat. Tebek's own Final Jeopardy.

Shit, shit, shit!
I like Trebek and I don't know what else to say. I'd like to find a grain of goodness or some exemplary behavior in this news but it ain't easy. Finding anything good to say regarding news of stage four anything is kinda like commenting on how the lipstick on the pig is amazingly even and symmetrical.

I have watched Jeopardy since day one. Sometimes I feel so smart and other times I feel dumb as a red brick.
I saw an interview he did with Harvey Levin on a show called Objectified that I happened to stumble across sometimes back while just scrolling thru guide. He touched on retirement, etc. Was a good interview. He truly seems like one of the good guys and wish him well.

I'm another one who has watched Jeopardy whenever I could. Alex became host in 1984. Like others, some days I do very well. Some days I know nothing. When the category is the Beatles, I am always amazed that most contestants do not have a clue.

She then had 18 months before it came back, and that was what she passed from. It is possible, but it was an agressive treatment. For us, it allowed us time and space to say things, with the knowledge of how blesses we were to have that time. I hope he and his family get that peace.

Oh, I saw it years ago, but never really followed any day time shows, not my thing. Still he has been there a long time, said he was 68. Still hate to hear it, poor man.
It's just like I saw a picture of hubs best friend today, I hardly knew him. He has had a heart attack and has been fighting cancer for a couple of years at least. I couldn't believe it, looks like an old old man. I look at hubs and he looks good to me in comparison. Still able to work all day, have a life and enjoying himself. It doesn't seem right, that guy is a good guy too. His wife and him do run around quite a bit, not sure how he tolerates it, hubs said he doesn't think he drives much at all anymore.
We are all just here for a time, not a happy thought, but realistic. We each need to enjoy the time we have.

I like his attitude. Maybe something we could all learn from. Thoughts and prayers will be with him.

I love that show and watch it almost every night, except for those nights when DH and I have date night. He seems to be one of the really nice guys on tv and I hope he does beat it.

I've watched Jeopardy since the old days when Art Fleming was the host....back then it was REALLY tough to answer the questions.
If we aren't able to watch it every evening, we have it set to record & catch up on the weekends.
I wish him well, it will be a tough fight...hope he beats the odds.

Last night's and today's morning news and talk shows had only good things to say and best wishes for Trebek. He is well liked in the industry.

Even when I was a little kid, Jeopardy with Art Fleming was my favorite game show. I did really well for a nine-year-old. I never make it a point to watch, but will for a while if I run across it. I still remember a college basketball road trip many years ago, sitting in a Spokane hotel room and amazing my teammate by answering almost all of the questions. And even fifteen minutes ago I found it on when I finished a video and rattled off nine of eleven. I like Alex, and he seems like a good guy. Pancreatic cancer is nasty though. Took my mother seven weeks after diagnosis. Wish him well.

My dad died from the same disease.
Not pleasant by any means.
I've watched/played along with jeopardy for so long, I don't remember when I started.
Good show for trivia buffs.
He is an excellent host.
