Well, it is almost the only thing he's good at.
That, and I hear he's a pretty good golfer.

As I always keep the score, it's quite easy to tell if someone has forgotten a stroke. Usually that is due to a score that is double-triple bogey or more. if someone really shot an 8 and says it's a 7 and the skin has already been won by someone else I can let that slide. Oftentimes the player realizes that by the next tee and corrects it. No way would anyone 'cheat' cheat or be able to get away with it. Trump must only play with toadies, sycophants, lackeys, ass kissers, brown nosers and other cheaters.

That, and I hear he's a pretty good golfer. LPGA star on golf with Trump: ‘He cheats like hell’LPGA legend Suzann Pettersen is fond of the sitting U.S. president. But she’s not so sure about his handicap. In an interview with Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang, Pettersen detailed the many sides to her relationship with President Trump, whom she has known on and off the golf course for over a decade. “He cheats like hell,” the 15-time LPGA Tour winner said. “So I don’t quite know how he is in business. They say that if you cheat at golf, you cheat at business.” Pettersen also said the president must pay his caddies well, as drives that are headed for the woods always ends up back in the fairway. She also mentioned his fondness for gimmes. More: LPGA star on golf with Trump: ‘He cheats like hell’

He has cheated at businesses his entire career. Face it, he is just a low rent slime ball in all regards.

He CHEATS at golf. Ask any golfer. There is nothing more despicable than a CHEATER . In Trump's mind, being a LOSER is worse.
I'm sure he justifies taking whatever measures he needs to take if not to actually WIN (especially when he plays professional golfers) but at least to not suck bigly.
And he gets away with it for the same reason he gets away with all the lying he does at his job - people are too scared to correct him, because they don't want to be lambasted as fake news.
Wanna bet he would squeal like a stuck pig if one of the other golfers he played with cheated?

Yes, I am sure you are right. But of course there is no bigger loser than a man so small that he must cheat his friends, and himself, at a game that is really meaningless in terms of the score anyway. My mind boggles at the pettiness and lack of respect this shows! Why on earth is your mind boggled anymore?

I think we can just call him Trump. That is pretty insulting. To be honest I usually refer to him as that asshole. Everyone has always known who I'm talking about.
