Hopefully this winter's rain and snow will greatly reduce drought conditions in California. The high snow pack amounts are good for busting droughts,

Hopefully this winter's rain and snow will greatly reduce drought conditions in California. The high snow pack amounts are good for busting droughts, In the mountainous areas it probably does. Then again in most of the mountainous areas down from the very high elevations, it dries out by August regardless of the snowpack. The snowpack gives the coastal areas their drinking water sources. In the canyon areas where so many people live near the coast, it does not really make any difference.

Does California 'seed' their clouds to (hopefully) increase the amount of snow they get? I know Utah does (usually - did again this year).
Quite honestly, I'm over it. I don't want to have a drought, but it seems like we've received a lot of snow this year.... If only it could / would snow in the mountains and not in the valley. I'd be good with that! Having a new windshield that doesn't leak air and water has improved my driving situation during bad weather immensely, though. I'm happy about that!
