I was stating my opinion on what you said. Good chance we're not understanding each other. I don't personally attack anyone, unless they do it first. I apologize if it came across that way You said "republicans like to impeach somebody for telling a lie"
My opinion is that they do not.It has to be connected to a serious crime, a felony, to have merit for impeachment. The impeachment of President Clinton was the cheapest political hack job of all time. He had sex with Monica Lewinski. Outside of his marriage, two consenting adults, in a morally dubious and salacious affair. Nothing illegal. Of course, given the nature of the activity, the President did whatever he could to hide, obfuscate and utimately deny that he did. The GOP House subcommittee maneuvered him into probably lying (depends on what the definition of is is) under oath about that. For that, he was impeached. Not censured, which would have been more appropriate. Impeached. Come on. Politically motivated, hypocritical BS. Meanwhile, the GOP speaker of the House, carrying on an affair of his own, told his cancer stricken wife at her hospital bed that he wanted a divorce. Another GOP hack had a "Wide stance" in the men's room. The current President has more piccadillos, affairs and divorces than you could shake a stick at. Maybe Republicans today have little appetite for impeachment for no good reason. But they sure did but a few years ago! A felony is a felony. Lying while under oath and president, has consequences. It also has nothing to do with all the other activity you describe. Nice try

I wouldnt be counting on that solid majority that definitely will not vote for him. We will see next year Wasn't that long ago (2016), when we had polls showing his loss. National polls of the popular vote accurately predicted his receiving fewer votes.

Me and the people I work with,, but then again, I wasn't sittng on my ass waiting for more free shit,, see how it works! I understand u find happiness in how large your wallet is...something along the same as the Donald... Folks I know and associate with , and many quite comfortable... [they don't use the word rich...comfortable suits hem...Example : Purchased home on Martha's Vineyard....gutted and rebuilt it...swimming pool and all...as second home...now thats comfortable] These have great empathy for those in need...give generously to help and work too for their benefits...unlike the Donald who claims he is generous to those in need but has been found that really isn't that generous no matter what he claims...unless hounded by media...the one million $ for veterans...never actually paid till media investigation of , found check NOT sent......and only then check was sent out. Wouldn't be surprised if u emulate the same behavior...naturally no way of knowing just wondering and believing. Remember Dezii, I am the one picks them, (The Illegals) works them till the are falling down in the Desert Sun, no food, no water, no breaks,, (Shit on Your own time) and no shade,,,,,,,,,,, Load them up haul the down to ICE them off (using the truck ) and NO Pay,, Thank you, thank you, all you illegals that have allowed me to enrich my self!!!!!!!!! Getting rich is EZ PEE ZEE!!

National polls of the popular vote accurately predicted his receiving fewer votes. Which means as much as the color blue, in a U.S. Presidential election. Yet it still adequately refutes your mischaracterization of the facts. The polls said he would lose the popular vote. He lost the popular vote. The national polls were accurate. ANALYSIS of the polls was not, in that it did not reflect very close margins in individual states, but that is not a fault of the polls. Do you really not understand this?

So, I certainly acknowledge that President Clinton was an adulterer who was impeached per the letter of the law. (Senate did not convict) How about President Trump. Do you acknowledge that he is the biggest liar to ever hold the office, a serial adulterer and a john, a man who has surrounded himself with criminals and has proven himself to be unfit for the office of the President? President Trump sounds like the typical US president, as you are describing. Haven't seen him prove himself unfit, nor read anything about him proving himself unfit. Link ? What ever happened to that free and easy assessment that was applied to Clinton, in regards to the fact his adultery won't affect his ability to do the job. Of course Clinton's adultery happened in the oval office, vs happening before he was president. Could be some discussion there.

The heads of various branches of U.S. intelligence testified on Tuesday about the threats the country faces from foreign powers at the Senate Intelligence Committee's annual worldwide threats hearing. It featured public testimony from CIA director Gina Haspel, FBI director Christopher Wray and Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence. And President Trump's response (because they didn't agree with what he is saying) Perhaps Intelligence should go back to school! www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/go-back-school-trump-assails-u-s-intel-chiefs-after-n964516 You can't make this shit up, really. The world this man lives in and the people that defend. Whole big conversation on Bill Clinton's lie, but seems perfectly normal that everyone around the President of the United States getting caught lying...no biggie! Sometimes I feel like we are living in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

A felony is a felony. Lying while under oath and president, has consequences. It also has nothing to do with all the other activity you describe. Nice try You are correct in that a felony is what it is. In this case it was also entrapment. To hold it completely separate from the rest is the worst example of holding the letter of the law apart from the spirit of the law. It was a cynical blatant political power play divorced from ethical and legal considerations and we all know it. Furthermore, the voting public figured it out for what it was. <iframe width="24.5999999999999" height="8.74000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_72722048" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 24.6px; height: 8.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="24.5999999999999" height="8.74000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_41193975" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1169px; top: -5px; width: 24.6px; height: 8.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="24.5999999999999" height="8.74000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_21407129" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 373px; width: 24.6px; height: 8.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="24.5999999999999" height="8.74000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_90236689" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1169px; top: 373px; width: 24.6px; height: 8.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> I don't know? I thought a smart democrat/lawyer would be a little harder to entrap.

Didn't Trump appoint Haspell, Wray, and Coats? He's slamming his own appointees now because they aren't saying what he wants?

President Trump sounds like the typical US president, as you are describing. Really? LOL!Haven't seen him prove himself unfit, nor read anything about him proving himself unfit. That is the point of this thread. He shows himself to be unfit nearly every day.Link ? What ever happened to that free and easy assessment that was applied to Clinton, in regards to the fact his adultery won't affect his ability to do the job. It didn't, and Trumps dalliances with hookers and porn stars don't change his, um, abilities. I am merely pointing out the hypocracy of the same people giving Trump a pass condemning Clinton for it.Of course Clinton's adultery happened in the oval office, vs happening before he was president. Could be some discussion there. Like what? It was unseemly? So anyway, we are back to the beginning, the point of this thread. You apparently still deny any ability to see Trump's crippling shortcomings, lies, ineptitude and utter contempt for the law? You are fine with his performance? To me, being the president isn't a performance. I don't care about his personal peccadillos. He's already delivered, or working on the things I care about.

(Simple fun, but we're not going to get anywhere at this level)Not as bad as the close minded Trumpettes who refuse to listen to anything other than what Trump himself says, and dismiss all journalistic sources as 'fake.'
If I had to guess who would be a better educated voter, one who reads and listens to a wide variety of media and learns how to discern which ones have a bias (and what that bias is) will always be a voter who is harder to hoodwink with bullshit, compared to those voters who only believe what their hear from a handful of like minded sources.

He hadn't delivered a Wall, hasn't gotten Mexico to pay for the Wall, hasn't delivered a 'very wonderful and cheap' health care system, hasn't provided the big tax break for the middle class he promised right before the mid terms. He's granted crazy leeway to the NK dictator and now seems to be handing Syria over to the Russians to run. Now he seems to be considering starting a war with Venezuela, possibly just as a 'wag the dog' distraction from all the grifting scandals and the Mueller probe. Certainly hasn't gotten Clinton locked up, but he sure did get a mess of his own campaign workers either locked up or about to be locked up.
Other than some right leaning justices (who can be impeached, should they prove to be too far right) and a great tax break for the 10%, what exactly has he gotten done in 2 years that make him such an upstanding president? Seems to me, he's all hot air and flim flam on the surface, and his WH is barely contained chaos. Frankly we've had done better if we had set a department store dummy in the oval office and let congress run things.

Your call on what you think of him. I've noticed most of the negative assessments come from the left. I’ve been in New Zealand for the last 4 weeks. He is a laughing stock here. A caricature. A bad joke. That's what he is here, as well. A really bad joke.
