Thats since 1995 to the present which means over 23 years....I am reading that as a total illegal registration...just under 60,000 have voted at least once but again, I read that is over 23 years... I believe they have prosecuted 33 last year...if even double of that or even triple of that # had illegally voted...considering the population of Texas..the turn out...while any illegal voting is not good...I can sleep soundly with that few illegals voting...but thats me. ------------------------------------------ "Texas has some of the toughest voter ID laws in the nation and has been one of the main battlegrounds in the Republican-led fight against alleged voter fraud. The office, in a statement, said that 33 people were prosecuted for voter fraud last year, and 97 were prosecuted between 2005-17. There are 16 million people in Texas registered to vote." -------------------------------------------- www.foxnews.com/politics/texas-says-it-has-discovered-95000-non-citizens-on-voter-rolls-58000-have-voted

Here is a link which uses a bit different language to discuss the situation.

And after $95 million gets spent investigating this, the actual number of attempted fraud cases will be closer to 95.

One case that has received national attention is that of Crystal Mason, a woman from Fort Worth who was sent back to federal prison this month because she tried voting during the 2016 election.
Mason hadn't completed her five-year sentence for tax fraud at the time she attempted to vote. ...link So not here illegally.

Easy to both do and justify when you have no integrity and no compunction about lying.

So 58,000 voted some time over the 22 years.
If this list was in PA, my husband would be on it. He originally used a non citizen ID to get his drivers license about 21 years ago. He became a citizen years later and did not vote until he was a citizen. So, no illegal voting, but he still would have ended up on this particular kind of list.
Which is why the state of texas is NOT saying these people voted illegally. There is no way to claim that from this list.

it is impossible to judge the scope of this problem without further investigation. I will reserve judgment until that is complete.

I believe it, I am sure those 58,000 "voted" Republican. My guess is that it's not many real people, it's what the voting booth spews out after it's been rigged.

it is impossible to judge the scope of this problem without further investigation. I will reserve judgment until that is complete. A closer look... “ Many Texas Voters Whose Citizenship Was Questioned Are in Fact Citizens A claim made last week by the Texas secretary of state — that 95,000 registered voters had a citizenship status that could not be determined — appeared to fall apart on Tuesday when local election officials said many of the people were known to be United States citizens. Some registered to vote when they applied for a driver’s license at the Texas Department of Public Safety, which requires them to prove citizenship status to state officials. Others registered at naturalization ceremonies, a data point to which state officials said they did not have access.” www.nytimes.com/2019/01/29/us/texas-voter-citizenship-list.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur
