I am sure an original copy of Mueller's report is going to be kept safely somewhere as well as witnesses to the original copy. I can't imagine he and his team would do all this work and not safeguard the results from tampering.

Well that is likely in that scenario. I guess I wondered about the report if Trump is re-elected, and presumably he maintains Barr as AG (if Barr is confirmed). What is the likely scenario with that report if Barr is still AG and the House and Senate are in Democratic control?

I am sure you are right. At the same time, I don't think Mueller will have the authority to actually release it to the public. So it gets leaked.  |

They are especially interested in looking at the Deutsche bank records, which the GOP run committee previously refused to subpoena. The Dems will.
Deutsche bank has been prosecuted for facilitating money laundering for the Russians, including with the Trump buddy Manafort. Trump's son bragged about how they could get whatever money they needed from Russia, which makes financial people wonder if Trump has also been money laundering for Russia. I guess we might find out once Maxine Waters gets those bank records.
So even if Trump manages to get the DOJ to sit on the Mueller report, there are ways for the same criminal activity information to get out there, now that the Dems are running the House.
