If it is wine it is Riesling, I am partial to tequila but DH doesn't like me drinking that. I love a pina colada.

What is the Best Vodka ?
Absolute is considered 'club' vodka in some parts.

Other than scotch?
Beer, microbrews, not too heavy on the hops. Red and white wine, dry. Gin and tonic for hard liquor, that's about it.

Right about now, almost anything. But I'll wait a few hours and then have a nice white zin with dinner.

I'm having red wine now at night on the advice of my doctor. Trying to chill out a little. For me it all depends on what I'm doing. I'll drink beer, wine (red and whites), tequila, vodka, rum, and whiskey.

Beers. I like Big Rock out of Calgary (used to be my favorite till I found Alaskan Amber). Alaskan Amber and their summer beer. Sierra Nevada pale ale. Granville Island pale ale. Boundary Bay's best bitter here in Bellingham. Mac and Jack's amber ale. A good pint of Guiness can definitely go down also.

I've been on a huge pinot grigio kick recently. TD and I seem to have similar tastes in beers and like the same ones. When I was in college, my dad worked for a beer distributer and my roommate's mom worked for a brewery. Needless to say, we NEVER drank cheap beer, so never acquired a taste for it.
I like most red wines. TD and I are meeting up with some friends of mine who own a couple condos on Myrtle Beach for a week of sun and alcohol in a couple months. My friends (old college roommates) have a HUGE wine cellar, so know we'll be doing a lot of good drinking. My buds have turned us on to some incredible wines, but it's too bad that many of them are waaaay outside my comfort zone of purchase.
Alcoholwise, vodka is my preference. During the summer, nothing beats a good vodka, tonic and lime (like the time my dad got me sloshed on vodka tonics and I drunk dialed TD), or a bloody mary. Margaritas have their place, provided they're good and not too sweet. Don't care for either gin and most scotch. Don't do rum anymore after overindulging in daquiris in my college days.
In the evening, love sipping on a snifter of either Grand Marnier or Frangelico.

I bought a bottle of black licorice schnapps on a whim and ended up really liking it-I am slowly finishing it off. I think it would be neat to have a schnapps bar and collect shot glasses.
When I was a little kid my grandpa let me sip from his glass of beer-awful stuff. On the other hand, the ladies back then drank slow gin fizzes, and during card parties they would let us kids have a sip/gulp-yummy. When I became legal age I would order vodka collins. I hate tequila (no offense) and don't really like rum either. Always loved the ice cream drinks. Drambui on the rocks is pretty good. Some of the key lime vodka martinis are good. Lime whether drinks or cooking is difficult to get right. I never really enjoyed wines-when I was pretending I would usually order a riesling. Arbor Mist used to make a good cranberry merlot that was perfect at Thanksgiving. Amaretto is pretty good. I wish Sam's club did tastings of all the new alcohols on the market :-)
Sounds like I drink alot but I actually rarely drink. I keep a bottle of brandy for medicinal purposes :-) (flu)

Yeah that'd fall under bad idea to drunk dial the boss. I'm pretty sure the guys in my phone directory way outnumber the girls. Just for family members the guys outnumber girls.
Grandma has whiskey for medicinal purposes. You will quit coughing or not care anymore I promise after a couple spoonfuls of that stuff.
One of my favorite bartenders came out with this shot that taste like mint chocolate chip ice cream. I know it has creme de menthe and vanilla vodka not sure if there's anything else or not.

A good ol' margarita, which is surprising, because most mixed drinks I like tend to be sweet. Maybe it's the salt around the glass!

Beer - Currently on hand: Bell's Oberon Ale, Shiner Kosmos Reserve, Shiner Black lager, New Glarus Spotted Cow, Boulevard Wheat and Bud Light - The Bud Light is for friends who won't properly appreciate the others and the selection regularly changes. Wine - red or white - wine gives me horrific hangovers even if I'm just barely tipsy ... a single glass with dinner unless I want to suffer. Baileys & coffee in cold weather (very occasional) Frozen fruity concoctions in hot weather (also very occsaional)
