Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of my favorite people on this planet, brilliant, funny and can teach, a rare combo indeed.
Watch Cosmos with him on Netflix and you will see, it was one of those shows I binged and couldn’t stop. Then imagine anyone else doing the show and most people would be bored to tears.

What Hawking, Tyson, and Nye did/do is bring their scientific fields down to the level where the average person can understand their discussions and books. They make science interesting for the masses.

There was an episode of L&O CI where the person playing part of said he based his character loosely based on him. Funny when I saw his picture in article I immediately thought of this show since it was one that after all these years I remembered.
OK back to serious posts.
