Does anyone know how much Chase charges to use the tellers inside the bank? These charges only apply to non-Chase customers. If you are a Chase customer, the ATM is still free. I don't think Chase tellers would be much use to non-Chase customers. Btw, I use Bank of America, and so far they've been great. Their ATMs are so ubiquitous that I never pay an ATM fee. If there isn't one around, I just go to CVS and buy something with my debit card and get cash back.

I could pay a $10 ATM fee and not blink twice. My free checking account from the local bank refunds any and all ATM fees. Our movie theatre charges an extra dollar to use a debit/credit card - I get that back too. I also earn 1% interest on the account as long as I have direct deposit and e-statements. Sometimes, it doesn't pay to have a big, name brand bank.

$5.00 represents your entire year's income on $500.00 at today's glorious rates of return and the $5.00 does not include charges that another bank may also charge if you are using Chase's machines to get money from your own institution. What?

HSBC(my bank) charges me $1.50 when I use a non HSBC ATM. So it would cost me $6.50 to use my ATM card at a Chase bank. Chase has been charging $3 near me for a few years already. the nearest HSBC ATM is 10 miles from me. also strip clubs in my area give you 19 singles when you break a twenty.
