moment of a Widow and child of a fallen military individual for his own political reasons... Man has no shame...not the first time. He has disrespected a Gold Star family publicly ..he has disrespected a widow on the way to take possession of her fallen Sargent husband..and this is a man who when he could have served in our military..[ of age active war going on] opted out by a non medical reason..bone spurs?... Even publicly bragged in a disrespectful way that he also served in a dangerous theater, comparing his possible contracting a sexual transmitted disease by his playing around to the same risk possibilities of those who were serving in harms way where the bullets, bombs, booby traps, even just accidents with high risk happenings put them into danger....and where so many did lose their lives in the thousands not counting the wounding in the hundreds of thousands... ----------------------------------------------------- "The NFL protests began in the 2016 preseason, when then-49ers quarterback protested police brutality. Kaepernick has followed his stance with action, donating nearly a million dollars to charitable causes. But as he’s been unable to land a job in the NFL since last year, for whatever reason, other players have joined in the protests in his wake. The protests exploded on the national scene in Week 3, when Trump, at an Alabama rally, decried both Kaepernick and the NFL. That following Sunday, more than 200 players from almost every team joined in the protests in defiance of the president" ---------------------------------------------- . Many veterans have indicated that they fought to defend not a flag or an anthem, but the "Protesting players have spoken at length about how their protests aren’t meant to dishonor the military, but rather to raise awareness of systemic racial inequality and police brutalityfreedoms that flag and anthem represent, including, of course, the freedom to protest. I'm with the president on this, I take my hat off and stand for the National Anthem. I served..I fought...I bled ...he stayed home and used deferment to get out of serving and bragged about comparing our service with his not getting a sexual disease As just as much a valiant doing.....that's our , your current POTUS..
and I have no problem with them kneeling in protest for what they feel is a discrimination of authority against youth of color...most are of color who participate and when young am guessing where very aware by experience personally or through friends, family of this happening.
I am Caucasian and never experienced any of this type behavior by law enforcement folks..however have been so informed by friends and comrades of color of this happening and believe them...also believe our Donald does not really care of their kneeling beyond it gives him something to bitch about that he knows so many of his base feel strongly about...so he gets on his high horse for political reasons...
Actually I put hand over heart with hat and stand for national anthem...even mouth the words..but am as said, Caucasian...not protesting...but understand those who do...and believe them when they say it is not as disrespect of flag...

We all have our reasons. I'm still with the president on this one. I take my hat off and stand for the National Anthem. It now seems that you are just using this subject as another vehicle to show your dislike for your president. I already think you don't like him. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I stand for the national anthem and what it stands for - freedom of expression. I deeply respect anyone who peacefully protests (whether or not I agree with them).
The Genital Grabbing president is on the wrong side of democracy -yet again.

www.biography.com/people/bill-clinton-9251236
Prior to graduating from Georgetown in 1968, Clinton won a highly prestigious Rhodes Scholarship to study for two years at Oxford University. However, in the spring of 1969, Clinton received his draft notice and was forced to return to Arkansas. Clinton avoided military service by enrolling in the ROTC program at the University of Arkansas Law School, but instead of attending law school that fall, he returned to Oxford (and later claimed he had permission to do so). Feeling guilty about his decision to avoid the draft, Clinton resubmitted his name to the draft board, but he received a high enough lottery number to assure that he would not have to serve in Vietnam. (Oxford is in England.)

At least he didn't run to Canada like Hillary's hubby did You might want to check your facts with that claim. William Clinton: Vietnam War opposition and draft controversyWilliam Clinton.... "He subsequently decided not to join the ROTC, saying in a letter to the officer in charge of the program that he opposed the war, but did not think it was honorable to use ROTC, National Guard, or Reserve service to avoid serving in Vietnam. He further stated that because he opposed the war, he would not volunteer to serve in uniform, but would subject himself to the draft, and would serve if selected only as a way "to maintain my political viability within the system".[23] Clinton registered for the draft and received a high number (311), meaning that those whose birthdays had been drawn as numbers 1 to 310 would have to be drafted before him, making it unlikely that he would be drafted. (In fact, the highest number drafted was 195.)["

As said ...never felt this strong about a POTUS before but if u look around a bit I believe u will find I am not alone on my feelings about the man...there is a new book out that is dealing with the man and his administration..and as my friend Tenn points out, if even a small amount of what is described dealing with him and his Administration being said about both is true...we are in deep doo doo. That u are a supporter of the man is fine..but to not also recognize that this POTUS has some questionable issues is to have ones head in the sand like a ostrich.... Being discussed as a everyday occurance right now by Sec of State on CNN is possible using Nuclear weapons on N Korea and not as a reaction of a attack on us...but as if necessary a pre empt strike. You may feel that is a normal strong all American action that is long over due..I don't. We are still paying the price of not necessary actions for two small Atomic weapon discharges over 70 years ago...today there could be millions affected...Also two other countries who have such weapons...one more of them then we do...the other holding almost two trillion of our debt plus being looked to too pick up a big chunk of our new trillion and a half just added yo [over next 10 years ago] and to expect them to just sit back if their people and country was affected is asking a lot..We wouldn't sit back to such a happening...why would they? So yup....a dislike of the man, ? You can say that.

This thread is about nothing new. Dezi dislikes Trump. May I respectfully suggest that Dezi start one thread titled "Donald Trump is .....", and simply add the latest complaint to it daily?

Dezi isn’t the only one. Each of us could start a daily thread about something awful he says or does and they’d all be different.
It’s astounding to me that there are still people who will support him.

The easiest move is the ignore button. It’s too bad there’s no remove the entire thread button.

This thread is about nothing new. Dezi dislikes Trump. May I respectfully suggest that Dezi start one thread titled "Donald Trump is .....", and simply add the latest complaint to it daily? You’re about to get lectured on how he can say or she can say anything they want and you have no say about it. Morning all...hope all have a neat weekend and see some warmth show up. Actually I thought I do post regarding the thread I start...Actually, have to be careful that I am staying within the two thread a 24 hour period...so first thing to do is try to figure if I am with in that window...not as easy as it sounds. Thus most of my posts are ad ons to other threads, either older my own or those of others...I try to ad to threads that the premise is similar to the thoughts of my post but other times they are in response to other thoughts of posters...possible even one of yours. If u are uncomfortable with this way of commentating on a message board, I suggest do what I do...just ignore and slide through as I sometimes do with other folks posts and threads...I promise, I won't be hurt..promise won't turn to mmhmm in tears complaining about a person ignoring me... By the way, me too, believing there are still so many supporting him...un f ing believable...but that is just me...Really need my coffee..hope aid is on time...damn, just 7:30...won't be here till 9 AM. Any one have fresh made can offer me a cup? Love my coffee...sugar a bit high this AM ... Any favorites on bowl game coming up....Go Patriots...Damn Jeter for gutting my Marlins...looking for another team to support...and he got so little in his trades too...never had the $ to buy the team and overpaid by $400 to $200 million....something in between....

The limits on posts needing to be set because of abuse and complaints that couldn’t be ignored no matter how much they wanted to. Don't get me wrong...have learned to live with it...made my case to increase by one or two, brought to the highest.....thought it was a good case...lost...sighed and we moved on.... ....
