What desserts do you gravitate towards when you go out to eat? Creme brulee's mine and TD and I usually split it.
I just want a little something sweet but don't want to eat the whole thing myself.

I'm not a huge dessert fan but Mich is right, creme brulee or creme carmel are wonderful.

I tend not to have dessert when I go out to dinner, but if I go to a diner type place it's hard to resist pie. I like cherry best, but next on the list would be the meringues (lemon, coconut, banana cream ... they're all good). And don't try to substitute whipped topping for the meringue, thank you very much!

I don't usually have dessert when I go out, but when I do I'll have creme brulee if they have it. If they don't then anything chocolate comes in second.

I'm not big on desserts either, but if I know the cheesecake is good at a certain place I will absolutely leave room for it.

We have an Italian restaurant that has little minnies with vanilla, orange, caramel, etc. that you can order so you can try them all. But lately the hardest to find and one of my all time favorites is chocolate mousse with whipped cream on top. To die for!

I love dessert. I go to Abuellos and have the most amazing Dulce De Leche' cheesecake. I also really like Creme Brulee. There is a place I know that makes the most amazing Creme Brulee I have ever had. When I do Italian I usually get the traditional tiramisu. I absolutely LOVE that stuff.
I have a sweet tooth, a homemade comfort food tooth, a steak tooth, a roasted veggie tooth. I just LOVE food. I can't help it. I really am shocked I am not 600 lbs.

Ok. Well actually he gets to leave THERE in May..but then has to debrief and out process from the base that he is stationed at. That takes about 10 days. I will fly down there when he is done and we will drive up to Michigan together. Then we will start clearing our house here in Michigan and turning it over to a property manager to rent out. But I do plan on getting lots of lovin' during that time. Yes..by the way I AM counting down the days. I can't wait for him to finally be home.

I've said that too.....after my BS, after my MS, and think I even said it while working on my doctorate.

It's tacky isn't it calling a restaurant with a line of people wating to get in and asking if they can make a reservation for Dr. Mich isn't it?

I probably said it when I got my MS but I mean it this time. I made the mistake of figuring out what courses I needed to get my MD CPA license and my boss told me to go for it. They picked up the tab for the expensive one and I paid for the other one and deducted it on my taxes so all is well on the payment end. This one is just more annoying than the one I did last year.
In another month it will be over and I can move onto the take home ethics course required in MD. Its all self study, read and take a test. I can deal with that and I get to do it at my own pace. I will put in a disclaimer if I need anything else for the fraud examiner license. I don't think I do but I haven't fully investigated that bc I need another year of experience after June.

Yep.
When I was living in Boston, I took my folks to a great seafood place that did not accept reservations. You got there, put your name in and waited. So our name got on the list and as we were getting ready to walk to the bar, a guy came up demanding a table NOW. He was Dr. So-and-So, a very important cardiologist who worked at Harvard Medical School and he did not have the time to wait for a table since his time was far to important, since he saved lives. He was far too obnoxious about his perceived position.
To this day, I'm quite impressed that that hostess managed to hold her ground and make him wait until his turn.
